I take it that means you won't subscribe to the podcast I get that it's just a game but don't understand why the developer felt the need to open this historical can of worms other than in the interest of lining their pockets. There is nothing tactically or strategically glamorous about this war but I bet EA are hoping it makes some sick kill streak videos on YouTube.
What a douche.
If it was up this guy, no game would ever be made with any sort of gunplay in it, because aahhhhh meeerrr gaaaahhhd guns kill people in real life too.
No war films either, or films that show a plane or car crash... or pretty much any tragedy.
Why is this argument coming up now when weve had many games and in particular other medias 'glorify' war just to make money. Yes I guess there might be a question of taste but allow the market to dictate that...
Man I miss the 90s when stuff like boycotting Mortal Kombat at least made some stupid sense...

This whole argument is pathetic. I didn't hear anyone scream up about world of warships, which simulated ww2 naval warfare, which as my sailor grandad would attest, could also be horrific at times.
I have my great grandads ww1 medals in my drawer. He suffered during the war. Ending up dying of shrapnel wounds. I dont think it's an insult or anything to his memory in any way whatsoever. Ridiculous the whole thing.
I tell you what, Attila was a massacre loving despot. Lets ban Total War: Attila. Give me a break.
Yep why wouldnt it?It's a fine line though, what about a game based on 9/11, would that be ok ?
