BF1 haters still going strong posting in a thread about a game they don't like, either lots of time on your hands guys or slightly upset BF1 making you play cuckold.

I see that the DICE/BF defence force are still in denial about the game being **** and still get upset when something bad is said about the game
Maybe if DICE listened to the "haters", BF 1 would have a much larger PC player base 4 months in rather than having the player count that bf 4 had years after release...
BF1's current big problems are:
1) Lack of content in original release
2) CTE has taken a lot of players from the public servers.
The upcoming DLC looks like it's going to be pretty good and at least one of the new maps looks like it will be a classic. It's a shame it won't be available to most players for ages unless they buy it.
Been having some great rounds this week in vanilla though, barely lost a game.

or maybe no one cares what the 'haters' think due to their egotistical nature.... How many times do they have to say 'do this, do that' before they realise nobody is actually listening
there are more than enough players so no need to worry if the player base is smaller than BF4 was back in the day.
BF4 that was lambasted for not being as good as BF3.
BF3 that was lambasted for not being as good as BFBC2.
BFBC2 that was absolutely slated for being too linear( and not as good as.........).
All on here by the 'usual' crowd.
Maybe if sweetfx was safe to use the 'haters' would be back on BF1 due to having a nice advantage over everyone else. (wonder if that sort of thing is called something else by others not using it)
Anyway, my feeling is once more maps land it'll settle down and there will still be loads of people playing this. It needs more maps as the rotation is getting stale now, though still loads of fun.

Yes more than enough PC players atm... And we are only 4 months in, looking like an excellent game for longevity. I dread to imagine what the player count for PC will be in 2-3 years time when BF 4 had the same amount as the current PC player base... Looking like it is on the same path as battlefront aka dead game.
The difference this time is that most of those people who said the same with bc 2, bf 3 and 4 have either not bought the game or stopped playing now i.e. our discord server had 15+ for the first month or so, now you are lucky if you see more than the 3 on... I think those people got even less time from bf 1 than battlefront
And with all those previous games, you could over look certain problems i.e. vehicle balance etc. With bf 1, you can't, it is full on casual with lack of content now, there is nothing redeeming about it, other than "zOMG WW1 and pretty graphics" interest/hype.Sweetfx is perfectly safe to use because DICE aren't retards, they know the difference between cheat software and a brightness/contrast/exposure/HDR etc. etc. adjustment tool. But yes, watch as people who use sweetfx and use all low4pro settings sore high with their l33t k/d above all the mere peasants that barely scrape pass 1 k/d
No one ever answered this when we had this discussion before either... are the people who say that sweetfx is a cheat/advantage by any chance **** players who look to blame whatever they can for their lack of ability in MP games?
Again, if anyone thinks DLC will save a game, they are delusional, anyone who has owned/ran servers will know that it's the worst thing for player base and server popularity.

Nope, I don't mind losing if it was a good game and if I've lost because I was out classed. Gotta learn the hard way sometimes... I do mind losing when the team I'm on are completely idiotic.
We've had up to 6 on at a time this week. Also my time for BFHL:91 hours SWBF: 30 hours BF1:245 hours. PFFFFFFFFT! You dirty casual, have my fellow CFA members harvested you yet? Or has casualfield 1 broken them with there being too much work for them or have they also abandoned the cf 1 ship to avoid becoming one of them...
All the clan leaders that begged me to be in their teams for bf 3 and 4 couldn't afford me and I carried team uk for free just for my love joe <3 Need I say more?

Remember those bf 4 nights where we had up to 10 EVERY night for a good year or 2 Should look up josh's, tony, crispy etc. for interest. They might have more time in bf 1 but I don't think it will be much more than battlefront, probably more than HL though...

CFA are only an issue in numbers, but so are OcUK. They seem to let just about anyone in now

You don't have our regulars blaming their lack of skill on things like sweetfx and low4pro users lol...Guess they have to drop their standards since bf 1 is changing how players play/think now
It is amusing seeing the top 20 plays etc. for bf 1 on youtube these days, always some funny/meme/random moment (this is what x's channel has even become now LOL!) rather than seeing proper skill like what you got with bf 3, 4 footage. Even patsy was saying that aka art said all the footage he gets is really crap compared to bf 4

Patsy doesn't seem to play BF1 at all, and I'm not sure if ART enjoys it that much TBH, but what is noticable is that 100:1 streaks don't make great viewing on youtube compared to BF4. I still greatly enjoy BF4 but only really get the chance to play on a Friday night when Xin, Pat and Art are on.
I was jesting about your "tactical defending", but it raises a point. I do suspect that a lot of the vehicle focused CFA players don't like BF1 because no matter how good you are, if your team don't help you are stuffed (And that's if you can get a vehicle in the first place). In BF4 you can destroy on your own..
Also I don't remember anyone who plays with us on Discord ever complaining about Sweet FX or L4P ever. Not everyone who posts in here is in the platoon..
As for the "PRO" scene, no BF game works well. It's hard enough to get 5 people together for a ESL style ladder match of TDM while BF demands teams of at least 16 before it even makes sense (And then the random hit reg kicks in..).

Think my BF1 playtime is/was around 25h or so. BF4 was close to 1000h. I think Battlefront and Hardline combined would be less than 20.
I just didn't enjoy BF1 like I thought I would. It's a good game just not what I wanted out of a Battlefield title.
It is safe to use, that's why people use it. People just love any excuse to cry "zomg hax0r" - It's called reshade by the others not using it I believe.

Yup he was speaking to me the other night (he saw me on rising storm 2 so was asking about it) about bf 1 and doesn't like the game for all the same reasons I've listed on here. From what I could gather, art doesn't like it either, only reason he is sticking with it is for youtube.

You should know by now, most of my posts always have a trolling/jesting manner to them... I would disagree with that, if you're soloing it on bf 4 as a vehicle player, you can get dominated very easily or at least have an exceptionally hard time and not do as well as what you would with a good squad working together, especially for aircraft play, some one with half a brain in the aa will make it a nightmare for jet/heli duos and then add in the stinger warriors, you will be practically locked out of the map, not to mention when tanking, lock on central as well and possibly getting rekt from above i.e. helis + jets. No doubt it looks a lot harder in bf 1 though for solo vehicle players though.

The same happened with bf 3 and netcode/hit reg. complaints, a lot of people didn't know that the suppression was why so many shots didn't "register" aka hit the target as when suppressed, your bullets went everywhere but where you were aiming (granted the hit reg. wasn't perfect for it but the suppression in that game didn't help matters at all).
Really? I thought you put a decent bit of time into battlefront. Tony definitely must have as he was proper **** bucketing it for battlefront, up to like 4am playing it whilst his wife gives him the dagger eyes lol...

Tanks can be very vulnerable, especially the light flanker. It's great at farming infantry as long as you have an escort. It was speed nerfed since beta though which means that when your brainless team decides 2/3s of the flags are not enough and zerg forward, you'll get pincer-ed by assault class players as you can't keep up. 2 assault players can take you down very quickly and a squad will smash you in seconds.
Suppression is definitely back with vengeance in BF1, but even when you're not suppressed you can find yourself walking up behind an unsuspecting camper, put the barrel of your model 10 hunter shotgun to their head pull the trigger and miss. Then 5 mins later you're storming a bunker and 4 kills in 4 shots.. The longer you stay on a server the better the hit reg seems to get which suggests to me that there are sync issues when you join a server (which reminds me a lot of previous titles). It's no worse than SWBF though..
Did you uninstall the vanilla game? If not you should have both..
I like WP! No one in our group wants to play it though. It's fast paced and tactical. It could possibly be the basis of a competitive mode as it doesn't need 32 players. But is BF without vehicles BF or COD with bullet drop?
