*** Battlefield 1 ***

I've always attempted to be a good medic in Battlefield games. Somehow the role just feels most satisfying to me but as I'm playing BF1, I'm clearly not that great at either shooting or being aware of my surroundings.

What are some gripes you have about medics in this game? and also what things would you say to someone who aimed to be an efficient medic?

I enjoy playing medic. My only issue is people that are not patient enough and spam the space bar before you can get to them. Hero medic is on route, just hang in there. I got a few bullets to dance round first.
 
I usually play only small game modes but prior to deploying at the start I tell the team "that your rev is important to me and I will get to them as soon as possible" also spam that Q so let them know you're coming

Yeah sorry, had a bad cold all week and very tired, decided to call it a night! Will try and get back on more often again though

You have it all wrong, you are supposed to stand 2m away until a revive is no longer possible and then steal their kit. Or if you must revive only do it when surround by two enemy tanks and at least six infantry ;)
 
Anyone still get the artillery truck bug where you right click and it gives you a black screen instead of the scope view? Had it a few times over the last few days.

I had this issue yesterday in a game of operations on map St. Quentin Scar. We was on the attack and people was constantly skipping just as I was getting to them. One guy who had literally just died in front of me, had already skipped within a second of being downed. Wasting my time and the teams lives. I tried to tell everyone in the chat to stop spamming the spacebar when they die. We failed very early on though because of these people and we had too many scared soldiers sitting near spawn sniping.

I play operations a lot and grenade spam and planes really ruin it more than anything for me, the majority of games seem to only have a few medics in them, after a while i'm just holding down the spacebar knowing one isn't around.

Often :( with the amount of snipers we have per game, they could be spotting the enemy for us. While they sit under their cosy little rock, we get slaughtered in the midst of battle because we don't know where the enemy is attacking from. Spotting would help me loads as I constantly scan the map for down allies.

Is spotting a little broken though? sometimes I spam the Q button but they never get tagged.

I've just re-installed I only played 45 hours and stopped in Jan. I notice when pressing Q 3/4 times I get the spam warning message and it takes a while for it to let me spot again. Seems to not spot many times when it should.

It can be hit and miss. I'm not sure if it just gets confused with the wrong weather conditions maybe? I don't know.

The scout/sniper class is my highest ranked, i rarely camp and snipe, I run around keeping back a bit using the spot flares and trench periscope whilst giving medium to long range support. Proper scouting.
