*** Battlefield 1 ***

Not played it on PC yet but bought it on offer on Origin. Played it extensively on PS4 and preferred it to BF4. Made the mistake of getting CoD WWII and other than a decent campaign mode it was terrible and a waste of money. Looking forward to playing it at 1440p on new PC.

BF1 has its flaws but still the best FPS going. Stopped playing COD since black ops and haven't gone back.

Had some awesome games the other night. Must have been 10 of us. Proper steam rolling!

BF1 still worth picking up?

I've played every BF religiously from the original until BF4, then had a kid! Getting time to play again now, wondering if BF1 is still good and busy?

If you've got BF4 already stick with that, it's a considerably better game imo.

Anyone else crashing on map change? It was fine up until the last patch and it now crashes every 2 or 3 changes stating it's the amd driver. I've updated the driver but it still happens.

Been playing solo since i bought the game a few days ago must say im quite enjoying the online but it is abit of a spamfest sometimes. At least its not as bad as Metro on BF3.

The game really works so well when you get into a little squad of hardworking strangers attacking/defending squad objectives. Feels like you're rolling the server.

So much fun that tonight, prob my most enjoyable night on it in a few weeks.

That Bernaise Sauce LMG or whatever its called its just pure porn lmao...it's so easy :)

Yeah gg's last night, felt I was firing on all cylinders for once.

Bad luck with the crashes Josh. BF1 seems to uncover CPU/memory issues pretty quickly, how old is your setup and is it aggressively overclocked?

You didn't install any BIOS updates for Meltdown did you? Intel themselves have accepted they cause system instability now.

4790K @ 4.6 everything seems solid, been fine for months, I've back the OC down from 4.7 to test.

No I abide my the BIOS rule of "if it isn't broke..."

I'm giving it a deeeeeeeeeeeeep clean on the weekend so hopefully that may help.
