lol what?? So yesterday when I were talking about something feeling different yesterday after the patch, why didn't you mention that rather than 'correcting' me about direct x and performance. Especially as I mentioned what I did to fix it was deleting the document folder like that 'gfx fix' suggested!!

There's a difference between something "feeling" different and "looking" different especially when framerates are concerned. The dx11\12 performance differences have been there from day 1.

People are under the impression dx12 adds visual differences, so if anything its more of a placebo effect for some using dx12 mode. In reality since the patch there have been some visual changes that were intended, those being icons on the minimap. You were talking about a visual difference between dx11 and dx12 which is what i was addressing, not that dice had managed to mess up some settings in the patch which has only been confirmed today.
 
Looking at the thread it doesn't apply to every-one unless you lost a massive amount of textures on landscape and medium distance. You would know if your one of these people the textures look like BF2 or worse.

its on Origin for £32 atm, I know thats a bit more expensive but it does come with the great game guarantee so if you have any problems or dont like it within a set no of hours you can return it for a refund.

Might just do that then, ironically just had to have a call from EA 20 minutes ago as I logged onto Origin and my security question had been changed by someone to Russian.

I have noticed turning down the dpi on the mouse has helped massively but it makes 360's a pain at times.

Anyone feel like the support class is useless, I've been playing it a lot the last few days but I tend to find myself going back to Assault or Scout?

Not really, no. It's all I play really, and if you play it to it's strength its fantastic. BAR telescopic for the more open maps gives you the range to pick off pesky snipers, and it still wrecks up close. BAR trench for the smaller more claustrophobic maps is beasty. If you run into a shotty or 1918 at close range, yeah your kinda screwed, but the same for every class lol.

No I was not talking about a visual difference at all between dx. I made that clear, twice now. I also made it clear I had pretty much no fps change and that it felt different. I also gave an image of a benchie which showed minimal difference for my card. I just had noticed it after the new patch (I even mentioned placebo too). Next page you are chatting about how you were agreeing with Born 2 kill a few pages back because you noticed something too. How is that any different and how does that make me come across as though I think it is direct x??

I am honestly not sure if you are trolling or not because by quoting Born 2 kill and saying what you did, you are being hypocritical!!!!!

EDIT: I have edited this as I had worded it to sound a lot shorter than intended :)

I'm a big fan of the Madsen MG. Good ammo capacity, excellent hip fire for up close engagements. Not so good at long range but kinda turns the Support class into something Assault like.
 
I have tried to get on with that, and it actually seems decent, but the magazine really obscures my view and annoys me a lot!
I might force myself to percever with it for a full night and see if I can get over that.

I have tried this fix and although I cant tell much difference in terms of graphics it has seemed to up my frames, I was getting REALLY bad frames earlier of around 35fps with drops to low 20fps! this game has been majorly inconsistent in terms of fps for me since the last patch, some days I get GREAT frames with it never dropping below 60fps and averaging 70fps+ then others like mentioned...anyway lol I tried this fix and my frames went from mentioned back up to averaging 70fps and seems to have stayed like it :)

sometimes I do get the occasional drop but it shoots back up again...long story short lol...if you have been getting lower frames since the update try this...it seems to have worked for me :D
 
Just ran into my first hacker with the name "QuontaKus_Nuf_". Running about the map with an mg come sniper rifle. Not exactly sure wtf he's done with it but he killed me when i was using using the elite MG with what appeared to be a single shot and i hadn't taken any damage. Spent the rest of the round basically standing in the open rattling off shots killing left and right. =/ Sad little man.

Funny thing about that page is that you can literally see on the score per day chart , the actual day that he suddenly became remarkably good overnight :)
