tell me about it! muscle memory means i pressed it at least once for each of the in game menus (kit, deployment, commander). and every time i had to wait about 10 seconds to get back in! By which time my plane was in a cliff :D
 
Wow guys... Thank you for the heads up! Its crazy how you don't actually need super graphics so long as game play is good. Tbh the graphics were decent.... Tho I nearly spat my food out when I saw the the resolutions you can get to... 4k!!!! WTF! HA! I have a 1080 144hz and run absolutely beautiful at that res. My buddy ran at 1440 144hz! Just wow!

I'm sticking solely with this for quite a while, loved getting the medical medal last night, with the old school drum role!

I've changed the localisation files last night which is far far better! Couldn't get UI addon to extract tho, so will try that tonight. That escape button man grrr
 
yes.. it's running well at ultrawide for me (2560 x 1080). Didn't have a chance to play last night, but will try and get on next week some time.
 
Just fired this up as a little blast from the past, impressive work :)

The one thing i'm struggling to get used to though is the ADS toggle, in time I'll get used to it though.

Anyone know if its possible to add DSR/VSR resolutions? Mine appears to cap out at native 1440 rather then the maximum 5K.

E: I'm speaking **** all DSR resolutions are available, native just happens to be the bottom one :p
 
The hit boxes seem to be a bit laggy for me. I remember them being bad but not this bad. Will give it another try later to see if it's any better.

God yes, just as good.... Tho I've noticed the TV missile has a very small lag when you first fire it, isn't a breaker, but means super close targets are harder to hit.... But wow I've not lost my shot!

Had a guy flying me round last night, kept going low so I couldn't aim... I was like, "dude you're terrible, lift me up, hide behind objects".... He replied "Look at my K/D I'm a pro"... Then eventually he pulled the front up and I let the TV guided go and smashed the other AH1z while on a down loop!

He soon listened.

Is it sorted now? I had a massive issue last night, the game kept crashing to desktop before it even loaded.... Turned out the res of 1920x1200 144hz had broken, so needed to change the video config file!

Its always been like that, I know its frustrating but just learn where the hit boxes are from each gun if that makes sense? For example the medic first unlock right at the tip of the scope, I find pick firing as opposed to pray and spray is the only way!

Gutted I'm working all day and night! Roll on tomorrow, need to keep ranking up to get the end sniper and G36C medic unlock!

Great to see lots of the new guys joining!
 
i remember the G36C for the medic being absolutely brilliant. really great fun game. I kind of wish that the revive project just kept all weapons unlocked by default.

Just jump on the forum mate. Might be an anti-virus issue that's not allowing you to connect.

They're quick to answer on the forums and there's usually a fix. Might be an idea to look in config files for whatever error its giving.

EDIT: Actually, open the launcher, click window mode, launch the game and see the error. If the last line reads something like "error 1920x1200 144hz not working".

Open C:\ go to user, EA games, Battlefield 2, Mods, 0001 - Video.con (Open this up and change the resolutions to something basic. You also need to do the same in another folder found at C:\ go to user, EA games, Battlefield 2, Mods .

Yup, I remember playing at patch 1.41 years ago, picking up the medic kit with that gun I would own with it, worked hard to unlock it. Tho I wasted the prior unlocks on G3 and Special forces red dot!

Best way to rank up is to use a support or medic and you need a decent gun to go with it!

I'm on the fence with the unlocks being universally open.... I like to work for something. I have this urge even now to go home and rank up for the unlocks! So I’m happy to continue the way it is. I’m hoping this game lasts for months/years… Got no time for modern FPS games!

Some servers have everything unlocked by default.

If you guys are enjoying this then you really should play Project Reality if you haven't already.
