Yeah but the stats aren't tracked.

As I said previously in a the squad thread, I like to have something to work for... A reward for hard work.

Like the medals you get with BF2 were the best I've ever seen, you needed some serious dedication to get them!

I've played PR back in the early days.... But simply not for me. I like the easy jump in and frag :D.

Besides majority of people playing BF2 are prop old BF2 vets.... Because for a newbie to play this would make their head explode with the hit boxes.

Apart from the intro title, what was a I thinking. Enjoyed watching.

Prob best to skip the inf Karkand... I remember using Fraps to record and it killed my FPS so had to scrimp on kill shot recordings!

Had a mate that would fly, between us we were unstoppable, both of us new the distance on the TV missile and how to duck, dodge and hide from others. Wouldn't matter if I was solo seat switching or with a pilot!

Ranks/unlocks are great for the more run and gun games but not for PR/Squad :)

It took me a while to get back into the swing of BF2 bugs/hitboxes but I'm back to loving it!

The glory days. It's too bad that most server admins couldn't handle a good heli duo. Talk about ban happy.
 
I hope they add in widescreen support for 2142. I'd love to play it again. I'll be able to get insane frames with my 980ti as well.

Had to laugh last night, I remember back in 06 spending weeks trying to get 7 knife kills in a server... My K/D was destroyed... the only thing I could do to get it was to spawn camp, and even then I couldn't get it done haha!

However after 14 hours of playing since Friday I've managed to get my Knife badge! Since as BF2 was my first ever FPS, shows how my game play has improved!
 
TV missile was lethal in bf2. People moaned about jets and helis ruling maps but with a good team they could be nullified, joe public will always be joe public.

1 hit kill on a tank. Which is actually accurate. Every game that DICE do they tone it down. Have you seen what a Hellfire or Javelin does to a tank?
