For those using a 360 pad (or just with one connected), you can switch off the vibration the patch introduced by going to C:/users/your name/documents/battlefield 3/settings/PROF_SAVE_profile

and edit vibration to 0

:)

3. Default installation C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Battlefield 3
4. Bought it of Origin, English US I think
5. Windows 7 Pro 64-bit
6. I go to battlelog, filter for servers, and click join on the suggested server, about a minute later the game doesn't open and battlelog reports the reason for not joining. But it's never the same reason. I can't remember all the messages to quote them, but it's either- connection timed out, lost connection to server, EA Online is down, EA Online kicked you off, server is changing maps, server is offline, etc... tried about 20 times, and did manage to connect once - but haven't been able to since.

1. Asus P8-Z68, i7 2600k, 6gb ram
2. XFX HD6950 2Gb (stock speed)
3. Default location
4. BF3 - Unlimited Edition from origin(?)
5. Win 7 Ultimate x64
6.PROBLEMS:
a) Kept getting disconnecting from EA server
b) The "no longer spawn near an enemy" fix is a load of arse. Happened to me all last night, multiple servers, so still totally frustrating.
c). Keybinds are STILL no good. Double-checked mine in settings and they are how they should be, but they don't function correctly in-game.

i personally don't think its down to hardware to be honest

i think its more likely to be software. Drivers/programs running in background/alt+tabbing etc.

Things ive seen and heard:
"Voice Comms programs crash me on BF3 More"
" Since removing Aero No BF3 Crashes"
" Not using MSI Afterburner any more no more crashes" - Me

i would add programs running whilst playing, most people will have a lot like
- browser
- mumble/ts/vent
- sound drivers
- gfx drivers
- Firewall
- afterburner
- some people might run msn/skype in the background.

i would suggest you all try running with the limited software see how it goes. or maybe bf3 drops crash reports in the games area (collate them send them to dice)
