Strange? I changed from 70 to 90 and noticed an instant difference. Did it prompt you to save your changes when you exited the graphics menu?

I saved it, exited the game and relaunched. I then double checked the settings and it had 90.

Anyone tried the CAP4 then?

Edit; Couple of reports from another forum.

Battlefield 3 same setting everthing maxxed in game and Holy **** It Works!!!!!!!!!!! No more stuttering, i turned on HT again and it still is working nice and SMOOTH!!
Fps at 1920X1200 max settings FPS 110 to 150.

These are working great! 1920x1080 Ultra, High Post AA, 16x Aniso, HBAO Off averaging ~100+fps easily. 99% GPU utilization on each card. Hell yes.

well just got my order from Amazon, so will post up FPS when its all installed, although only running at 1650x1050 til monitor upgrade.

Specs:

I5 2500k @ 4.5ghz
GTX 470 w/ Accelero Xtreme Plus (Don't know OC clocks, will check when im home)
Corsair 8GB 1600mhz RAM

I wanna go home and try! Im hoping Ill be able to play with textures, shadows and mesh on Ultra everything else on high at above 60fps. Which forum did you read that from? And you dont need to install 11.10 Preview 3 again do you?

I have a gtx 480 SOC by default its got a stupidly high overclock but ive got it overcloked even more with 900MHZ on the core clock and 1000MHZ on the memory.

Im hoping to play with a a mix of high and ultra.

Im installing now so will inform people later what its like on GTX 480 SOC

Noticed you have similar spec rig as me, what settings are you playing at and fps are you getting?

1055t @3.3ghz
x2 5850 running caps 4.
No stutter at all in MP.
I play at 1920x1080, 90 FOV and gives me 58- mids 70's fps

Ok tested it and im getting as high as 100 and lowest of 55 @1080p

average seems to be just over 60

Set the settings to ultra but lowerd the anistropic to 4x (what is this anyway?)

Runs like a dream on

I5 760 @3.8GHZ
4GB DDR3 1400 ram
GTX 480 SOC @900/1800/1000

Keep the anistrophic filtering to x16, has little performance hit, its the AA that hurts.
