Sounds good, got great memories from the BF2 days but I can't see BF3 living up to that with consoles to cater for as well.

or its a console port in way
Then i doubt i'l buy. I'm a massive BF fan and personally i couldn't really care about blowing up walls or how nice the GFx look..... i want a solid game that will stick and have plenty of active league's!

get ready for a shinier bfbc2role on red orchestra 2 which is about same time 64 player awesomeness with new features
Except RO2, like RO1, will only be played by about 100 regulars, who will be mostly humourless, up their own arse, nerds taking everything far too seriously....

After BC2 I'm not expecting it to be anything like BF2.

bc2 / frostbite engine but with 64 or 72 players on a bigger map, with muliple tanks / helis / jets etc and I would be very happy
maybe seperate the classes back out into rifleman, anti tank, medic, special ops, support, sniper again would be an improvement
seeing as bc2 plays smooth on my pretty modest PC maxed out I dont see why this isnt possible
I think real life settings / battles make for better bf games so maybe limit it to gulf war 1 weapons and vehicles etc rather than yet another modern warfare based game

its EA's new policy: create hype, even though people know deep down it will be cack then release a few months after the press releases/big events.
its the same with kotor.
i think we will be lucky if we get mod tools...
if anything Bf2 tought EA you cant expect people to buy your vehicle/map packs if people are providingf alternative mods for free.
companies dont want you playing there games for years anymore either because theres no money in it they want you buying the next version , then the next...
look at COD series its probably what EA want out of battlefield and the main reason bfbc2 had a single player version

Agreed, hope its as good as battlefield 2 because that in my eyes is the best FPS game ever released, 1942 was awesome too.
Shame the hitboxes are bloody awful!, they are nearly spot on in bfbc2. But yes agree with most here, 64+players is a must!
It would be stupid for DICE not to release the game on all formats, its a total cash cow for them.
For me personally the game needs to be more akin to the original BF1942 but the with the balance and squad play from 2142 (no not futuristic but heavily squad orientated) oh and 64player maps .
