And what's all this talk about some of you saying "if BF3 is ****, my pc gaming days are over?" FFS, there are plenty of threads about pc gaming dying, i wonder why? Get your act together lads, it's not the end of the world if a single game turns out crap. :)

Name another fps that isn't a consolified piece of **** and people wouldn't be worrying about the end of pc gaming... Currently all i am playing is RTS games as the FPS market is just a bunch of children's games these days

I too am looking for BF2 but with a few tweaks... and they better not have messed up my chopper :D

rumours going around

-Jets. They are back.
-Prone. It is back.
-Maps 3 times the size of BC2...They are here.
-The PC Version of the game is being ported to the console, unlike the vice-virca we all thought. Huzza!
-Information and "other cool stuff" coming this month
-Beta Summer 2011
-Release in November/December 2011.
-PC Version is getting remakes of fan favorites.
-64 Players Max on PC. Unknown for consoles.

One of the main things for me is to drop this dumbass clumsy movement they seem to insist upon with BC2. I don't know if it's just me but it feels as though I am running around in a fat suit. It needs to be a bit faster, COD funily enough has it about right, BF2 had it spot on imo.

For me, atleast 64 players, I remember 5 years ago thinking, man, this is awsome (after only every playing console games before it), just think how it will be in 5 years time, and has been already said, here we are wishing for stuff we had five years ago........

Want the commander back, want proper squads back (atleast 6 man squads), and descent map design. One of the very best parts of BF2 was because the maps where so good with player count, if you didnt want to fight a particular battle, you could spawn the other side of the map and push from that direction. It helped shake it up an awful lot.

As has been said, basically update BF2, fix the niggles and your 99% of the way there, and then beta test out the remaining problems and your there.

Job done.
