East asia will see the the daylight first, hence korean,japanese, chinese will be ahead of rest of us in terms of time difference.

Well just accidently cancelled my order from Tesco. There was no confirmation screen for cancelling lol. Well ordered it from GMG now anyways goning to preload and try VPN tommorrow

I see what you mean but Koubadz was specifying release date of 25th Oct.

So if it is 24th oct for Korea, it will be 24th Oct in rest of the world. Then that will be contradicting Dice official release date of 25th oct.

So official release date should be changed to 24th Oct

Also, (24th 4pm in London) is (25th - Midnight in Korea)
You don't base release dates on what you can do with a VPN.

So tempted to cancel mine from Shopto but dont know if can be bothered with the hassle since i paid for it 3 months ago =/

(Can pay early on shopto dont have to i just did for what ever reason >.<)

Guys just make sure you DISABLE cloud storage option for battlefield 3 in EA origin since the VPN will disconnect automatically after 30 minutes because we are using a trial service. Also with regards to not acessing battlelog because its not the 25th, it will be the 25th in Korea so login to battlelog via Korean VPN.

edit: on a further note - you guys really expecting to play multiplayer via vpn? You will experience an insane amount of lag lol. I recommend playing single player until the 25th (gmt) and then log into battlelog without a VPN since it will be up then in the uk (fingers crossed)

i dont understand, why disable cloud storage? wont you be kicked out of the game after 30 mins anyway when the vpn disconnects? arent you meant to use the vpn just for the date check anyway? :confused:

All i'm going to do is run vpn then open origin and open game so the date is saying 24th. Quit Origin and make sure it won't come back on system start up. Then tomorrow connect to Origin and BF3 via VPN at around 6pm when the game is out in Korea, connect to a random server while still on vpn, quit out of game disconnect VPN and then try and see if it works.

Shopto are perfect best place to use for games imo i just see every one here getting it early and im like "NO NOT FAIR I WANT IT NOWZ"

I'm sure the game wont launch if you don't use VPN even if you unlocked it (not sure entirely but give it a shot anyways). Not sure really but better to be safe than sorry, you don't want to be playing single player and then lose connection lose your game saves
