For those of you who have pre-ordered with origin and have yet to be billed think that using vps to access bf3 later today will effect the date we are charged for the game which is supposed to be thursday?
Money is a little tight till i get paid on Thursday and would hate for it to come out any time before thursday.

This multi region release date lark is a farce. Half the world will be pretending to be Korea later. I realise / know why we he have different release dates but what's happening just goes to show how dated the system is. Theres no such thing as time zones amd international borders in the internet, its completely stupid.

To all these people using a VPN to get early access, any chance of my Origin account being banned for this?

Was thinking of using my Giganews VPN to get me access on the 25th.

Also disagree with this Multi-region release rubbish, makes **** all sense, especially in a world of digital distribution. Anybody know the specific reason behind it these days? ya google it and people start going on about voice acting and cutting etc, but as far as i'm aware there won't be any difference between BF3 US and UK.

Game preloaded and AMD preview drivers installed. Now to wait until 4pm and wait to see if people can get the Korean VPN working then ill join.

no, there was a post on EA forums that contained a chat with support and he said theres no restrictions with using VPN on origin, i'll try and find it :)

found it http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-3/1443531-so-who-going-korea-tomorrow-4.html
and also this http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/...ea-do-so-your-own-risk-ea-have-responded.html

Haha that chat with customer support made me chuckle so much
