it's not at all.

there is a difference between changing the speed at which something is rendered and changing HOW something gets rendered.

It's a slippery slope, one minute you just changing colours...the next you might alter the palletes of moving objects compared to static ones for instance.. Maybe drop the foreground altogether?

As DG stated, it is basically a clarity hack.

being able to spot your opponent (faster) is what the hack gives you... The scar neither lets me see objects in any way than standard like for everyone else, nor does it improve my accuracy.

It's just a filter like msaa, itse just I can't run msaa as my 460 doesn't like it for fps. Got my colour how I like it.

I see no problems on this, hell I haven't even tried it yet.
Lus I can't shoot for **** so you'll be in no extra danger :)

Just did a few benchmarks to see the effects of the Injector. Ran the same test twice on Caspian border with the Injector on and then with all the files deleted and it would seem as though the Injector costs about 5FPS on average, and also takes away 5FPS from the minimums I was getting (minimum of 39 with injector, 44 without, with my 570 at 900 core, 2000 memory).

Just a heads up for anyone on my server...

Lost a load of people about 10 minutes ago. Not sure if it was a problem with my hosting company or a crash at blaze on EA/DICES end. I have two other guys on my friend lists with servers from Multiplay and one of them lost all connections and the other lost none, so who knows. Luckily a ton of OCUK'ers/server regulars rejoined asap so it was all good in the hood and a few minutes after losing everyone we are full again. :p

did you turn off msaa in options ? with it on.

Yeah. MSAA was off in both tests. I could definitely see a difference with the Injector but it just seemed to oversaturated to me and it wasn't like I had saturation set to 1.6 or something. It was 1.0.

But it might just be my monitor. It's weird. At 1900x1200 the colour is quite highly saturated already without the Injector, but seems washed out at all other resolutions besides 1600x1200. I think the extra saturation with the Injector just makes it look cartoonish on my monitor.

The stock game is washed out, if you like it washed out that's fine though.

I'm constantly getting 'disconnected from server' or 'server timed out' at the moment.

Really starting to hack me off.

I've disabled upnp and currently trying to forwarding ports fix, but its not looking good.

Anyone got any other ideas?

Alternatively, what routers are people using whereby they've never had any disconnect problems?

after a few brief trials i am not overly impressed with fxaa. not sure it's as nice as it was before but the button to turn it off and on in game isnt working for me so hard to do side by side comparision.

will take it off later and see what its like then

Hmm just need to win 5 SQDM now, any tips...?

:(

Find a server around 12/16 players. Join. Switch team (until you get on team with most squadded up) Spawn as engineer. Get in vehicle as soon as you can. Kill folk. Profit.
