This game is AMAZING when played with friends on TS........when played on your own it can be an intensely frustrating game......AMMO....give me some ****ing AMMO!!!!!!
 
what's the best way to get my recon score up... never really played it but want soflam etc...

i am not good at sniping...!

Totally agree. I end up quitting more servers than staying in them purely because I get frustrated at how stupid some people can be.

I really should get my bum into TS at some point for some teamwork goodness. That said if I'm squad leader I always do the Q thing.

Use a shotgun or P90 instead then and mix it up amongst the infantry.

Plant a TUGS device on heavily contested flag (b flag on metro is ideal :D ) and watch the motion sensor assists roll in.

Hardcore mode!!!!

First of all a range tip....You can be most effective taking out targets between 100-300 metres. For me its either the L96 (now) or the SKS.

For both weapons I prefer 4x scope (no reflection) for working in a sqd, 8x for lonesharking on large maps.

Straight pull for L96, Foregrip for SKS with either TGS for aggro recon or soflam or vehicle maps.

Don't stay in one place, press N to zoom your map out to see where the action is.

FLANK For The Win
 
I only really started to get on with sniping when i unlocked the M98B

prior to that i just hated struggling with the bullet drop on the snipers over any sort of range.

Everything Stoned said. It's surprisingly easy to use one of the semi-auto guns as a full on assault weapon with a non-reflection scope or holo/red dot sights. Put a TUGS down, spot every ****er you see, wait for all the spot assists come rolling in

use one of the auto guns on tdm

tdm is really good as you dont have to go far and can rack up a lot of kills. im unlocking all weapons one by one. done a lot and finding some great guns along the way. only problem is when you doing a crap gun and scores arnt great :p
 
You guys are right about this being way better with voice comms and teamwork. Does OCUK have a clan? I think clan matches will be the way to go in this game in future because that's the easiest way to get some good teamwork going.

A clan would be impossible due to numbers

We have about 3 full platoons at 100 members each with more spilling over into a forth.
 
and loads more who cba to sign up/are waiting for platoon leaders to pull thumb out and accept applications etc.

clan matches are overrated anyway :E
 
Hey folks,

There have been a number of issues on LtMatt's Conquest 24/7 server. Mainly people throwing tantrums about certain weapons and throwing abuse at other players. We are now combating this with a WKK (warn, kill, kick) administration method. Please refrain from posting abusive/racist/personal attacks. I highly doubt anybody from OcUK is contributing to this problem.

Also, in regards to Kissengers question about a 'clan'. You could always join LtMatt's TeamSpeak 3 server (ask him in Battlelog for the IP). Failing that, I am organising a 'proper' community/clan. Details will follow shortly.

Please feel free to add me to your Battlelog friends list, my username is MissileMoose.
 
Had some great informal matches against *****/ Scan. (edit Woops sry)

Will try and set up some more like that but with slightly better organisation.

LtMatt has said we could use his server if we can arrange it proper like
 
Thinking about it, we could always just organise a game between all us OcUK'ers.

I would propose that (when I've got it sorted) we all throw our names into the hat and work out some "teams" then have a good old laugh one night soon.
