M39EBR + Red Dot / Holo works really well too, especially with a silencer for being a bit sneaky.

Like the sound of that, trouble is your bound to get people not turning up due to something happening, etc..

The best way to do it would be to set a date and time, people to be on if they can on the same teamspeak/mumble and then put the names into a hat.

I'd suggest get a web site made up for it but most people wouldn't be bothered to sign up to another site just for that.

The AA in this game is utterly pathetic, using a tunguska on caspian and out of about 30 missiles fired i was lucky if 4 hit their target. And the real joke was it wasnt even down to countermeasures, just pilots doing the same turns over and over again seems to make the missiles just go into tard mode and not connect. it seems all they have to do is gain altitude on a turn and the missiles just go whizzing by, time and time again.

A jet flew directly over me after using its ecm, i fire the missiles one minute theyre in hot pursuit the next they vanish, no explosion no nothing they just seemed to disappear from the air.

I can only hope that dice actually figure this out and make aa missiles "smarter" next update. Won't hold my breath though as theres still bugs present in the game since the beta that theyve yet to fix...Sinking into floors when entering some buildings being one of the more obvious ones.
 
Im not airborne for 2 seconds before being locked on by some burke, AA does not need buffing.

Ive come to hate the game on so many levels. It doesn't even look all that great imo, everythiing looks like those printout papercraft models and mp feels choppy as hell no matter how high my fps or fast my connection is.

I too was overjoyed when i unlocked that only to find out that it appears white to enemies, not sure if its fixed though, knowing dice i doubt it :)

Good idea. One thing I would highly recommend is Teamsync for TS3. It automatically assigns people into the correct voice channel based on their team in-game. Also I would recommend making the 'clan' matches a regular thing at the same time each week (e.g. Fri, 9.00) so it's easier to get people to show up.

Download the FXAA injector and it looks stuning

Theres a difference between being locked onto and being shot down, from what i experienced today there is some work to be done on the AA. If people can learn to perform a turn that will lose the missiles the majority of the time it renders the AA totally pointless.

And before anyojne says "zomg soflam and javelin", yeah good luck getting that to work on pubs, its a rarity at best.

I'm a bit worried about getting hit by PB for this. The readme to the injector says don't play on anti-cheat enabled servers! Anyway, it also says to uninstall just delete the files. If I run into problems with PB because of this can I just delete the files and everything will be okay again?

Edit: also just a warning, FXAAI will make it so that you can't use Afterburner.

I take it this would also apply to evga precision? I keep afterburner running for the frame limiter and custom fan profile. Otherwise theese cards get pretty hot.
