I concur. I changed this yesterday. Now hosting the 32man map versions of the B2K maps. 3/5 Capture points, less vehicle spam. :cool:
 
and the BF2 die hards were moaning there aren't enough vehicles in the B2K maps, as some of the vehicles form BF2 were missing.

To think dice might have been right about game balancing after all :D

You get an unlock roughly every 10 kills with a weapon.

Have a look on battlelog to see how your unlocks are progressing. Press the customize button on the spawn screen to change what attachments and gadgets you use.

So when you unlock a new scope / gadget etc.., go into the customize screen next time you die to equip it.
 
Thanks to whoever recommended the KH2002 for Assault class. I'm now in love with this weapon and as far as I'm concerned no others exist.
So that's assault and Support (QBB-95) weapons decided. Can someone recommend an Engineer Weapon please? Using A-91 at the moment, but I see many using the G36C. Is this better in some way? I only play Engineer on big open Vehicle maps, so need something accurate at range. Got SG553 from co-op if that's any good.

I like both the G36C and the G53, if its an open map I add a heavy barrel for long range accuracy, although it does increase recoil if you just hold the fire button. You can cancel that out a bit with a foregrip though.
 
The G53 and G36C are the too best engineer weapons IMO.

Never really got on with the A91. Scar-H is alright until you get the G53 / G36, but its hampered by its small clip size, and the fact it got nerfed in the last patch.
 
Got that guide bookmarked and agree with most of it, but there seems to be some disagreement with his comments on Engineer weapons. I'll try the GC36 some more and see how it goes.

Oh wow, how wrong I was and how right you were. Why on earth do they start the gun off with that massive scope!?!?!? I got the ACOG, foregrip and heavy barrel and wow, it's now an awesome gun :p
 
i just used the L85 with iron sights until i unlocked the holo sight for it. Same with all the B2K weapons, the 12 X scope as default on them was surely a bug, as they removed the 12 X scope from battle log from every other gun in the game.

Yeah the stats say the M4A1 is superior to all, but i really get on with My G53, and did the G36C before that. I agree with the comments about the SG553, never really got on with that. And the stats say the A91 is really poor at range, whcih i'd agreed with. The A91 is a good close range weapon, but poor at range, whereas the SCAR-H is the complete opposite.

Gone back to the M4A1....devastatingly boring.....but it gets the job done sooooo well. Do love the Scar and the G53....not impressed by the G36c.

Don't take my word for it tho, check the reddit thang out.

TBH I kinda detest engineer, Assualt or Support r my faves
 
i may give the M4A1 a try again.

I moved onto the G36C pretty much as soon as it was available so i'll go back to the M4 and try again and see how i get on.
