I always hope its going to be a jeep or humvee as they have no thermals...Nowadays most tanks spot them a mile off with thermal optics and blow em up. So i always try to put it somewhere they cant see, like just over the crest of a hill or something.
or, what ive tried and not been sucessful with is to run out behind a tank (proximity scan is a bonus here) and lay mines behind the tank and hope that he sees you and truies to crush you by reversing..failed 3 times so far with this.

It's great when you take out a jeep or humvee thats loaded to the gills with enemy players. Ive also tried using c4 planted alongside roads. Had great success with this tactic in bfbc2. Only once have i succesfully laid a mine right in the path of a tank. He reversed, mine went off and took me out as well.

Cough......definitely don't have a video of you taking out 4 of us in a humvee or summat...
It's will be posted soon.....ish....away with work in Friday all weekend and then (praying to god, allah, devil, Charles Bronson) my new temporary Mobo will be here start of next week.

well i took out LTmatts tank twice yesterday (laden with 3 people) twice in one round with mines but sadly i did not get a video.
Think that was on caspian border one night raider. Iirc you were off on a c4 run. Cant wait to see that vid. So hope you get your new mobo soon. Saw in another thread that your hoping to go 460 sli. Cracking cards when paired up, got 2 in my second rig.

How do you apply options to your weapons i've unlocked some grips and sights but don't know how to add them to the weapon, it also seems i end up with different weapons every round i play.

Although it woulda been great to see, have no fear. I've got a good 5/6 mote vids of blowing those poor lads up....whenever I get put on the opposite team, I always seem to run into those guys on my C4 rampages. It's always funnier to get friends

For an old mid range card the 460's are still great. Soooooo overclockable! Shame I couldn't get two and do tri Sli

Finally unlocked the L85.........what a **** weapon...
Three would be nice, my other x58 board is tri sli capable of it. But even with dual cards things get hot due to the poor board spacing. And the fact that the cards are non reference cooled. The board in my rig in sig has better spacing, but doesnt support tri sli. This means that the 460's run a fair bit warmer than the notoriously hot 470's. I thought that as well when i first unlocked it. How wrong i was, once you get used to it, and equip it with a scope/red dot it's an awesome weapon.

Was it a punk buster related issue, or just disconnected. Been getting a few disconnects since yesterdays update.
It just said "game disconnected: you were kicked from the game"
This was about 3/4 the way through damavand peak, and damn that map takes so long to get your ribbons as it is. There were 5 people queing to get on so hoping it was just a random kick rather than something more sinister, like some random accusation from someone as sometimes seems to be the case if you happen to be playing well.
i am using afterburner to record.
it doesn't take much off the framerate.
intially when i was still using eyefinity, i went from 90 fps to 80 fps.
obviously fps is dependant on graphics settings and i can't remember what i had then.
i currently am using a single monitor and can get 90 fps with everything maxed. last few vids i tried using the framerate limiter set to 60 fps (double my capture rate)
basically whatever i use the vids come out choppy and jerky.
i haven't tried using a different player yet to see if it's just playback that's having a problem
also i have 6950s in crossfire, i am wondering if the crossfire might be causing the problem. i think i may try disabling it and seeing what that does. also gonna try fraps when i get the chance

Never had a problem with PB ever. Just been playing 10 minutes, then kicked by Punkbuster "for losing key packets". Reconnect, but it's kicked me for 5 minutes.
Ultra rage. I was having fun as well, and Id waited in a queue for ages to join the server
