LAR thing is the default US support weapon. The RPK74 ia the default Ruskie support weapon. Until you unlock another support weapon you are forced to use which ever one is the side youre on.

Also, after youve ranked up a bit in each class, certain weapons that are one country specific can be unlocked for the other country team. Eg, ak74 for us and m16a3 for ruskie.
 
Once you start getting kills with a particular weapon, youll unlock kit for it. In the loadout menu for your chosen class, click on accessories to tailor your weapon with scopes, bipods, silencers etc.

Had some good fun with Beardy on Siene Crossing there but I'm going to have to start wedging claymores up the orifices of certain individuals.

seine and metro are my fav maps for claymores. ;)

hey i'm just innocently resting this claymore here, if you happen to want to stand next to it, it's your own fault if it goes off :p

On seine, i love placing them in the courtyard, just off to the side of the alleys where they open into the courtyard. Run off and await the kill messages coming up on screen.:D
 
Love claymores! Camping D on Seine last night and same guy kept coming after me the whole map! I think I killed him with claymores more times then I did with my m16 the whole round :)
 
i have to say after being a little bit cold on this game i love it now i think the problem for me was i was only playing rush mode which is pretty static defence camp mode but now im playing conquest mode and i am having lot more fun with it

still fear getting into the helicopters tho tanks im fine in :)
 
Yeah I suck so much at flying the helis lol, I'm not bad in the jets. Weird as on Xbox it's the other way round haha

I thought that as well when i first unlocked it. How wrong i was, once you get used to it, and equip it with a scope/red dot it's an awesome weapon.

upon checking my vids with a different player, i think it is more of a playback issue, they play mostly ok with windows media player, but when i use media player classic they are choppy.

this are the original mjpeg captures from afterburner with no extra compression, so pretty big files for the length, maybe they will play ok after compression. will find out after i try that.

summary, let vid capture commence!

Can you use KB+M then switch to a 360 controller on the fly for controlling tanks and planes etc etc
