He positions it as a performance booster only i knew it made it easier to spot enemies.

Ltmatt confirms. I hope it gets picked up by punkbuster. Your all getting an unfair advantage with this mod. That's why you use it

And playing against someone who has dual graphics cards and a constant 120 fps isn't an advantage over someone who has a 460GTX and a dual core processor?

Or someone who has for example a BenQ 120Hz monitor with FPS mode enabled which basically makes the screen so bloody bright it burns your retinas yet you can see people standing in the dark a mile away?

Justifications will appear for this mod, but at the end of the day, how is this different to any other hack that allows you to spot people easier? To a certain extent, you're justifying hacks with a comparison like that, the thing is this is free and easier to obtain than paying for a hack.

It's no different than playing with high levels of MSAA and tweaking the colours on your monitor or graphics drivers, that is the extent to which it makes you see people better i.e. it doesn't. Placebo.

If people couldn't spot people without this mod, then you really need to learn to play if you need help with a mod that allows you spot people easier.

Matt, you noticed a rent tint on the black background when the next map is loading, with the the FXAA mod?

Yes, some of the colours are off. I find the loading screens odd, as well as the walls on metro. It does look better though. Bazaar now looks really crisp, really like what its done with that map.

I wish people understood what they're complaining about before calling for things to be banned.

It doesn't help you see people any more than any other form of colour calibration, this is my point. It isn't changing specific things like player skins to be more visible it's just changing the entire colour balance.

Because compared to the hacks it hasn't got bright markers pointing out infantry behind walls.

All it does is make the game sharper and crisper to the eye which allows you to see further and see objects better.

The fact is if the person can see you then you can sure enough see them, then it's down to the best person to win.

It gives you no more of an advantage compared to the scenarios I posted before.

Maybe i made it sound a bit better than it is, sorry get carried away sometimes.

I used to have difficulty spotting enemies in a dark background, not anymore since using this. Thats about it.

Yall frikkin serious? I use this mod because I want my game to look nice and the way it should have been looking If Dice actually found some more colours then washed out grey.

In no means this injector makes me a better player. And even if I spotted a player sooner it wouldnt matter because ****** netcode would decide to butthurt me anyway.

This FXAA injector isnt invented for BF3. It has been around for a lot of games.

Maybe its better to just stop posting here because in some way it always results in pointless arguments like this.
