yeah was fun but knifing is easier than repair tool :p

recording a epic video earlier on matts and just as i was about to finish with a blaze of glory the server auto balanced me :( ruined the end bahhh :D

came off went and played some cod4 . if only bf3 had cod4 reg .

Knifing is much easier I'll give you that DG, shame to hear about your vid, I look forawrd to the next one!

I hear you brah........ for me there was only ever one COD ie numero 4.

Must reinstall!!
 
I do feel a bit dirty when I play recon. I just want to unlock the MAV but there are so many other people sniping it does get silly. I ended up bringing a UMP or shotgun for quite a few matches.

I found the SOFLAM pretty useful. Even if no-one's packing a javelin launcher it trolls the hell out of enemy choppers, sending them running for the nearest hill to break the lock. It's pretty funny when you see an attack chopper doing a rocket attack run on that tiny laser designator when they figure out who's locking them too :D
 
Just bought the Limited Physical Warfare Pack for nearly 40 quid.

Hope it was worth it!

And I know I will have the free DLC's but will I also be getting the BtK expansion too?

It didn't force them to release the patch, but it made them sit up and take notice of the community.

Hence this blog post on the Battlefield Blog the other day :

we said we wanted more interaction and to know what was going on. So we got it.

Whether the ETA of "spring" for the patch is acceptable or not is another matter.

You only get the Back to Karkand free with the limited edition of BF3.

Any other DLCs you will need to pay for.

If you only bought the regular version of BF3, then you won't get any DLCs free.

The Physical warfare pack was granted free to everybody a few months ago, so i assume this isn't what you've bought at all.

I just leave when a game gets that unbalanced. Battlefield is a team game, and if your team is **** you can't carry them by yourself.
 
Well I bought the Battlefield 3: Limited Edition Physical Warfare Pack. Surely that counts as the Limited Edition, even though the DLC's are now free?
 
ah you bought it from a retailer that was selling the version that had the physical warfare pack free.

Well you can disregard that as it was a time based exclusive which has since ran out and everybody has the physical warfare pack now.

As you have the limited edition you get the back to karkand free (the first of many DLC map packs) the rest of the DLC map packs you will need to buy.
 
Read the blog post i linked above.

They are announcing them at the GDC in san Francisco. (to simon22, back to karkand is the only map pack currently out)

Good list, but still apparently no fix for jet guided missiles missing the target so much, and doing no bloomin' damage when they do
