lol you start with 60% health in hardcore, being hit in the toe with the M98 means instant death.

Not true about the toe hitting.

You require a chest/head shot to kill in 1 hit, even with the M98

Hits anywhere else will usually bring the person to around 1-15% hp

Using the M98B, 12x scope, Bipod. Kharg Island. My team was getting raped in large conquest. Score must have been 200/950. Never seen anything like it. Base raped to hell by their planes/tanks/heli's.

So I set up camp in between some rocks, managed to get away in a jeep before it exploded, I watched their sneaky snipers come out to play and take cover, only bringing up my scope occasionally. I've never felt so much pressure on my base before, within seconds of spawning you were literally dead. I wondered if competitive play was like this. It didn't really seem fair but I stuck about because I like to play the underdog.

So anyway. Two snipers got together, I was only aiming for one. A headshot was what I was after. Luckily the other one must have stood up and gone behind him because when I squeezed the trigger, and got the kill(s) the points screen popped up with 621 for that shot :). My highest ever single point score. Range was a couple of hundred metres. Shift was held down. It felt soooo good. Just wish I had a recording of it. I might start running some software in the background because that was one of the best kills i've done in the game feeling wise. Up there with my 971ft headshot on a moving target. Took quite a few kills there before somehow I got knifed. I am guessing one of the snipers came from B, the long way round after I took him down 4 or 5 times :D.

Got a triple with the M98b on Damavand down one of the side tunnels.... so much blockage it's kinda hard to miss. :cool:

I think I liked the bit where we were trying to get out of spawn on metro for like 15 minutes, then the one time you didn't rush you killed someone and got called a camper for it. Was hilarious! :D

I didn't quite poke the bear, more so, I kicked the bear in the jewels - and got bit! :(

I might start recording as well, would have some awesome gameplay but it's the editing part i cba with. I think I'll record a round, compress it, upload it somewhere, then make JG edit it for me! :p:cool:

Not on hardcore.

It's 95 damage even without a chest or head multiplier.

You can't make the M98B do less than 60 damage in my experience !

i've been using some novelty weapons of late, and currently using the 870 shotgun with 6x scope and frag rounds.

took down a littlebird with it last night on kharg, so dissapointed i wasn't recording.
the pilot was trying to shoot me and kept taking head on diving runs towards me. made it extra easy to get hits, but still took half a dozen or more hits to get the kill.
 
Hey guys ive just built my first rig and got battlefield on pc when do you guys play do you use team speak or alike at all?

Ive had it on ps3 since release so not a total noob just havnt played pc fps for couple years

BTW battlelog is Syphor79

Premier Pro.....when it works.....We can work summat out...I want Mr Snail to get a 1080p monitor so he can send me his stuff and we can do 2/3 way views!!!!!!
