PKP, is that the support weapon. Ps, Neil, how you finding the 560ti with bf3? Gotta look for a single card replacement for a pair of gtx 460's in sli.
 
dont goto a 560 ti from 2 470s youll be dissapointed.

FirebarUK yep as people said it is a very low recoil gun and in hc thats all you want with how the damage is in hc just pick a low recoil gun and camp hard lol :p

a-91 is my fav gun but i dont play hc much ;)

got home too late to try it last night, but just had a quick go this morning.

playing in 2560x1440 is like going to the opticians and getting new glasses. before i was blind and now i can see. much better for sniping i think but i only played for 10 mins.
and don't worry joe, afterburner can record in 1080p when i play in this res, cos its still 16:9
 
OcUK has that GTX480 deal on for under £200 still, check that out for a dingle card upgrade?

I used to use SSAO (1920x1200, no MSAA, Ultra settings) only on the GTX460 OC but on this 570 I'm on HBAO (with MSAA) and there is a noticeable difference and the experience is just a lot nicer.
 
I'm liking the look of this DLC!

I really enjoy Metro, even tho I played it to death in alpha/beta.

BF3s gun play is really tight, and close quarters maps sound like a great addition :D

Imagine the weapons they will give us?

MP5, bull-pup weapons, collapsible stocks, flash bangs? so many possibilities!

turn hbao or ssao off aswell as post anti off makes the game clean and look better .

You do realise this isn't supposed to be call of duty? Even if DICE is making it.
 
I would really like to see a return to WW2 for the Battlefield series.

I think it would be epic. It really is the perfect playground for fps.

Tiger tanks vs sherman, artillery, spitfires, meshersmits, trenches ... etc sounds awsome!

you wont see that for a few years yet as they have many things set in futuristic style games like mirrors edge and so on using new engine ;)

maybe after that it might be a return to the ww2 genre who knows. would ove to play a modern day good looking ww2 game which isnt a sim and isnt red orc 2 :D

cod 1 with the latest graphics omg how i dream !

Eh?

I don't like COD, I don't play COD.

But I like BF3, and I like the current close quaters maps, and I'm glad they're doing more of them.



I'd also like to see a proper AK 47, none of this 74 weakness :)
