Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

haven't played for a while so my game is out of date, but i can't seem to download the update.

I hit update in origin and you get the progress bar come up but it doesnt move. And there is a button next to it that says 'resume download' with a downwards arrow, when I click it turns into a pause button but as soon as i move the mouse off the button it goes back to the arrow :(

Is there a file I can download and install instead of having to use this pile of **** that is origin?

M249 is lowwer damage but has the highest ROF and is the most mobile of the "bigger" LMGs.

The M240 and M60 lie somewhere in the middle.

Then of course you have the M27 and the RPK, but they are just slightly larger assault rifles IMO.

Hmmm.. Considering how low ROF the M60E4 is I would have thought that would be higher dmg than the PKP, perhaps it was before it got nerfed.. I love popping heads with long range LMG bursts, makes snipers **** their pants :D

PKP :
Max Damage = 34
Min Damage = 20

M60:
Max Damage = 30
Min Damage = 20

Max damage on the PKP is up to 10m, min damage doesnt occur until 80m

on the M60 the minimum damage drop off point occurs at 60m.

you should also backup the bf3 folder in your documents folder worked for me a few weeks ago when i installed my ssd :)

Hi Guys,

Well guys, it has been a great few months playing with you on BF3 but I have found something even more fun.

I playing Modern Warfare 3 on my mates PS3 last night and LOVED it!!! The Graphics are great and the controls are very responsive.

I really will miss you all, but I'm going to have to sell my PC to buy the PS3 and games.

Thank you for some great times...

Dude.......The multiplayer was ****ing awful.....I would play COD over MOH anyday.....Whoever designed the maps should be shot!!!

Played 5 mins of single player, *STAR OUT ALL SWEAR WORDS*. Played maybe 10hrs MAX of the Multiplayer *STAR OUT ALL SWEAR WORDS* as well.

Only reason I bought it anyway was for the BF3 Beta.
