Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Any luck with a fix for the "Battlefield Stopped working" issue yet? Picked the game up today and I've managed to scrape probably 15 minutes of game play with about 20 odd crashes.

Quite pathetic really.

Those figures at EA have to be bs - they sold 5m copies in week one (allegedly), unless my maths fails me (which it could well have done :p) that article claims they made only a 6.5% profit...

They sold 12m copies by the end of Nov, probably over 15m now for sure. BC2 only sold 11m copies in total and BF3 had surpassed that after 5 weeks on sale.

At say $30 a pop that's $450m in income.

Surely even after spending $30m on marketing there is a profit in there?

DLC content now available and more to come.

Reported his friend as well without even checking his stats, but hes been wiped as well. Moral victory boys, break out the victory cigars.

Well he had got to rank 100 using the mass murder hack by the looks of it. At least this way he has to spend time doing it all again, who knows punkbuster might catch him the second time around.

Look at it this way, it takes him what a few hours to do that? It takes less than one second to click report on his battlelog profile.

having a break from the game bored of it now. every server rinse and repeat. will wait for dlc now and play other games instead

I'll be ready and waiting to get his stats wiped again, takes one second to click report no skin off my nose.
 
Look i found the actual user from the cheat site boasting about his stats, it took him one week to get there and his stats were wiped within a few days. Haha.

I know that was him because i remember his SPM. EDIT also seems to confirm that once the stats are wiped the account is lost, says hes gone through three accounts already.

What !

So cheaters get punished by a 'stat reset' ?
WTF, I admit its a while since I played BF before this (i.e 1942) but cheaters back then used to get a ban that would make the copy of the game they had useless.
Just a stat reset to me send the wrong message to these mofo's IMO.
 
Yup, they need to have their stats reset 3 times first and then it is a perma ban...... :rolleyes:

And the worst part is you can't "name and shame" at all on BL yet cheaters can spam away on the forums pretty much admitting that they cheat and nothing is done, pathetic........

Needless to say I am done with BF 3, have gone back to the much better more enjoyable game known as BC 2! :D :p
 
also most of the big cheat sites that are paid for give them another key if detected :rolleyes: so the loop never stops.


would join you on bc2 so much better game but i cant get it to not crash so irritating as its a joy to play .
 
What the **** is wrong with support weapons after patch ?? I cant kill **** from over 20 meters !!!!
Last night i wish i had fraps on or something. Situation:
I was doing Rush at caspian and came across a standing sniper. Aimed at his head with my
M240B Bipod + RDS + extended mag. Around 30 meters away like RL CLOSE.
Aimed into hes head and FIRE
50 ****ing bullets later he noticed me turned around and 1 shot.
Total around 70 bulets fires while aiming with supp fire perk and all.

I COULD NOT ****ING BELIEVE..... Almost punched my monitor !!!

Biggest WTF moment in BF3 i seen so far !!!!
I dont play no support anymore !!! Back to G4 on my engineer......
