Sorry Westie, couldn't resist. Listen to Westie, he knows his stuff. Oh and by the way Westie, loving ur FXAA settings. I had to sort the gamma out on my monitor to give them the best chance..Now everything is looking sweet...Still too blue, but hell..It's Bluefield3 so can't do much about that.

Night maps = days maps..Now with MOAR blue for you

Hold on a sec, am I reading this thread right..........

All EA Bans are undone!

And......

This is what JBRipley said:

In the latest Battlelog update we changed it so any Origin/EA account can log in to Battlelog. You will only have soldiers connected to your profile for the specific Battlelog supported game that you've bought (currently BF3 and MoH Warfighter).

Bans only apply to a specific soldier, so we show the soldiers ban status on the profile overview and on their stats page. Banned players are still not allowed to join Co-Op / Multiplayer games, nothing has changed there.

Keep in mind that we do retain the right to ban you outright from Battlelog as well, if you don't behave in the forums, comments etc. In that case you will lose all access to Battlelog and the games you have connected to it.

It's very simple. You are free to play the single player portions of the game however you want. If you can't behave yourself when interacting with other gamers, we reserve the right to remove you from playing together with them.

Can DICE sink any lower?

m+k for everything! go on a practice server to get used to controls!

Disagree with that for air vehicles, Xbox 360 pad feels better for me over mouse and keyboard, so i say experiment with both and see which type of control setup works for you.

But thats playing against everyone else who is also using 360 pad. Pad might feel better to some people for just flying about but when it comes to aiming you won't be as accurate as some one using mouse and keyboard

xbox pad pilot vs m+k pilot... ull lose everytime to m+k theres only so much u can do.. xbox pad ur accuracy will be nowhere near as good... u can hit a lot higher skill level with mouse + keyboard

theres zero point in flying with xbox pad hitting that skill ceiling then restarting again with m+k... should just learn from the start!

I find aiming to be fine on the pad.

i agree IMO its much easier to manouver the air vehicles with the pad and more comfortable and more enjoyable

BUT

you can get far more precise, easier and better aiming with the mouse...

So, if you master manouervign with the k/m then u will be top drawer pilot and at a level no pad player can macth

BUT i think pad/joystick is more fun :(

Last night on bandar desert, we started the game at 1399 tickets. Needless to say we lost the game 923-0 tickets lol !!

I was the highest scorer with 40 kills and 30 deaths. At one point me and my squad were close to flag D. So I decided to make a move to capture it hoping my squad will follow me and assist me. It was fine until I went right near it and enemy infantry started showing up aswell. In the thick of action I managed to take one or two of them out and then tank destroyer came and mine got killed.

Not surprisingly my squad was still sitting ducks in their original position and just watching me getting slaughtered. Its only after I messaged them to do something ffs, they went into motion and captured the flag

Nice teamwork

Do you guys play the game alone, or usually as a team (i.e. using audio?).

I really don't find BF3 enjoyable when playing by myself, there are always too many other teams/squads etc playing as a group which makes it very hard for me to make good progress (although I admit I am not the best player).

Recently found a friend to play with, and so finding it a much more enjoyable experience.

This is what JBRipley

You're not reading it right. Battlelog is now a platform upon which all future EA shooters will bolt onto.

If you we're banned from BF3 you were banned from battlelog too, meaning you would be banned from war fighter 2 as well now.

They've changed it so everybody can now access battlelog, and instead you're only banned from one specific game (ie BF3) where you committed the crime.

It stands to reason that all those caught cheating can't be banned from all future games too.

Yeah I know that, personally think once a cheater, always a cheater and can't see anything being different just because it is a new game, although obviously they should be allowed into battlelog in order to be able to play single player. At least they show if the guy has been banned for the game, which will help server admins who are suspicious of them in the new games.

But my point was more what JBRipley said, essentially if you aren't nice on the BL forum and tell someone to "xxxx off" etc. from what I can gather, you can/will be banned from battlelog thus banned from multiplayer, coop and single player. Think this is a joke. Is that even allowed?

A ban from posting in the BL forum is all that is needed.

Besides if ea have banned theese guys, they cant get money of them for new titles such as warfighter. Unban them and thats a whole new load of sales. Or perhaps im being cynical.:D

The abuse on battlelog has gotten out of hand to be honest. I'm surprised we're even allowed to link to it on here as its definitely not family friendly.

Having a 24 hour ban from all the Battlelog games as well as the forum should act as a great deterrent !

This doesn't bother me in the slightest, but then i don't feel the need to abuse people on the internet.
