Forgive my ignorance , but hopefully this is the right place to ask....when one is playing BF3 and one sees other players making comments as i like to call them * in the top left hand side of the game screen " ..how do they get to do this please....i cant work it out at all , thanx

that's why they get it first. its simple.

so whoever gives EA most money gets the dlc first this will continue for ever.


dlc looks fun will give it a blast when out.

BF3 want's to download 6GB odd, presumably this End Game stuff, which I haven't purchased and do not want, before I can play the game I bought (BF3 B2K). I didn't want or buy the last load of DLC yet had to download that too. Last ******* time, this game of stat whores is getting uninstalled never to be played again.

It's like any online game, everyone has to be on the same version to play.

In BF3 content from the expansions is available in the core game (weapons, models etc), so it all has to be updated.

End of the day 6GB is like 15-20min download, annoying yes, but hardly Earth shattering...

It's not like every online game. Decent online games let you play if you have the same client version, only objecting if you don't have content for the map/game/mode you're trying to connect to. I don't want to play in 15-20 minutes, I want to jump on the game I purchased now.

Reading the news and forum in battlelog, it looks like its just an update for battlelog Damn big update just for that but I cant see any mention of End Game DLC in there. That could just be DICE telling porkies and sneaking the locked DLC out so its ready to play on the 12th though.
