Anyone with an oc'd intel cpu getting crashes since the patch the other day? Pre patch my 3570k @4.5ghz on 1.300 vcore was running grand in bf3 for weeks. After the patch install, i started getting a few freezes in game and whea system errors. System was ok with p95/ibt. Had to bump vcore to 1.3100 to solve theese probs.

Nope, nothing on the pb front. I was just getting a black screen freeze, no pb error in battlelog as you get. Just had to ctrl-alt del and close bf3, error message saying bf3 has stopped responding. Seems ok now with the added voltage. Strange though how it only happened post patch. Prior to that it was fine for weeks since i first clocked the cpu.

Westie how's your deathadder? I bought one today (arriving tomorrow) after reading a few reviews and I saw a thread on here I think before where you recommended it.

yea its awesome bud best mouse ive used way better then old 3.5g deathadder and g400 i was using before!

worth £60 easily

Why are the they demanding that i install a 6gb patch that i wont even see until a few days from now?
Just got myself a brand new UT50 Panny plasma, try to get a game of BF3 going and it downloads the patch at 200k a sec.

I feel your pain, I used to live near there. Have they still not improved the internet out there, which isp is that

Ideally people could just get given a DVD with the files on it and then origin verifys it but origin is crap and usually wants to redownload the files unlike steam

Depends if it could work like a reinstall, i usually start the download, pause it, copy my origin game folder over, then restart the download and it completes near enough straight away without having to d/l the rest.

can't see any reason it shouldn't if the files off the dvd match the d/l ?

Got the mouse today and I agree with Westie, it's leaps and bounds above my old R.A.T 3. Already seeing improvement with my pistol kills in BF3 and sniping.
