depends what game style you like.
Close Quarters is good if you like playing the small TDM maps. Armored kill is very good if you liked the massive maps from BF2 like Songhua stale mate and Zatar Wetlands.
If you liked the smaller maps like Dalian plant then Aftermath, End Game and Back to Karkand are very good, well balanced maps.

All the maps are awsome! Shame you didnt do what i did, got the whole premium for 20 about two weeks ago whilst it was on sale

@Yarwood. I downloaded gpu-z ran it and set it to max on everything and ran the game had a game or two and left. Max temp was 57, max gpu used was 99% idk much but that seems over the top? averadge was 78% Max mem used 1756 (also seems high) The game runs smooth and spot on so im still non the wiser lol. Turned everything down from ultra to high and it made no difference.

I can run my GTX580 @ 950 for benchmarks, doesn't mean it like running at over 900 for BF3.
I also have to back my gpu oc down a bit for bf3. It will bench till the cows come home at +130/+770. Fire up a game and it will crash out pretty quickly. Drop the core and memory to +120/+760 and it's fine in game. Not a temp issue as ive never seen it go above 67c on auto fan, this is in a case with virtually non existent front airflow.
The hacking can be annoying, the best way to avoid it is to find well adminned servers and stick with them. Very occasionally theyll get through, but they will be weeded out pretty quickly and dealt with accordingly.

Just to add not everyone you think hacking actually is. I've played a fair bit 400+ hours
and I have seen one definite hacker. Thats it. If it is that bad do a search on here for 247 servers, other than putting up with JGStonedRaider ( 
)they tend to be good.

Way less hackers than there used to be it has to be said. Not too many around these days but its the less obvious hacks that are probably still running. Stuff like auto-spot (spots every enemy on the minimap constantly) or aiming at you or tells you when you've been spotted can give a huge advantage yet isn't immediately obvious.
Any quick google would also show console gaming suffers a similar problem.
Just to add not everyone you think hacking actually is. I've played a fair bit 400+ hours
I could easily play 24/7 all year round and never see a single hacker on my Xbox. I come on BF3 PC and see one every game, it's rife. I can tell who's good and who is cheating.

After 1 1/2 year admin of cq247 I can safely say that a well protected server streaming pbbans will be clear 95% of the time. The obvious hackers always are spottable by players that have been around.
People need to realise that this game and its messed up hitreg makes retarded situations.
When on ts you can come across a situation where you shot half a clip on a person and the person being shot at didnt even see you fire a shot off.
Or still getting killed while being behind cover for a second at least.

I got this on my blackwidow once in a while. like your rubberbanding badly, alt tabbing out and or restart game seems to fix it. Doesnt happen a lot though.

If you know what you are on about; you can spot a hacker (99% of the time) just from looking at stats. I believe the bullets to kill stat.

to you sir I actually got killed for hacking the other night after killing an admin 8 times in a row, I was only on 17-3 lol
But serioulsy guys, there are very few hackers on decent servers, if you are playing on Russian 1000 ticket TDM server and so on, what do you expect?
What is it about the ruskies, if theyre not stealing accounts, theyre cheating in game. I wonder, communism was so bad for them, no net access, when they got some access they just went wild with any and every underhand thing that it's possible to do online.
Installing hacks on the Xbox is possible, but the number of people who have a jtag'd Xbox and are willing to take it online with cheats is tiny to none.
As a result there aren't many people queuing up to write cheats for it.
There are loads of videos online of cheats that preport to be available on Xbox and PS3 but quite clearly show the PC version with a chat box. These same videos have links to download them , but want your money before they will even give you any instructions on how o install them

With regards my initial question, i played bf3 all day yesterday and did'nt get any crash's at all so perhaps it was just a random thing?
@The guys who said about benchs forgive me but i thought benchmark tests were to asses how far you could push a gpu with it being stable? So it would run in games with no issues, if not then whats the point of them?
