Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

One thing I hope for bf 4 is if they could put the server list in the game and have it so you can see a live list of servers without having to refresh and scroll down 10 times. Basic server list like we used to have before game companies thought of trying to put it in to the browser so they can try and sell ****.

I also think as someone else said earlier that having a premium mode breaks up the community. At least i hope they don't monetize the weapons, they can monetize the maps but don't do the weapons, that is just not an equal game. But game devs don't care like the used to about making a good game, these days its all about ripping the customers off as much as they can get away with.

Managed to get some games in really late and actually stay connected. not sure if it was the much lighter load on the servers or if they've fixed it though.

Do you honestly think EA cares about it's customers. Man you're naive. All they care about is $$, as shown in the Sim city fiasco, where they on purpose didn't provide enough servers to save money.

Same thing is happening with BF3, 6 months ago, this game was a lot more balanced and stable, now after the final DCL, the game is unbalanced unplayable mess that kicks you every round with an unknown error, so that you can't even fix it.

Like I said BF4 is coming out, would not be surprised if they totally shut down BF3. Knowing EA, they will probably ban all accounts that have BF3 in them, just so they get customers to switch to BF4.

That's EA for you.

I can't believe they have not posted any expected fix date etc on twitter, yet everyday the post some spammy crap trying to sell you something or some random screenshot. Feel bad for the people paying hosting fee's for servers and people can't even enjoy them.

Same servers looked populated with spaces yet they say can't connect as no longer exist and they all have 10 players in que..

The reliance on Battlelog to even PLAY is stupid.

As long as server is up, and I have a connection to it I should be able to play, just without the additions Battlelog brings - Tracking/friends etc.

Being ENTIRELY reliant on EA for even basic online play is lame.

I like battlelog, best server browser since bf2142. Remember the bf2 server restarting fiasco which took forever to sort or bc2 login issues. Come to think of it ea really suck at login/game servers period.

I don't have anything against Battlelog itself....but it's annoying that when the infrastructure to run it screws up you cannot even play basically.
