Seen the message on Battlelog?

Despite our security measures, we have been working around the clock to mitigate the impact of an ongoing denial-of-service attack on our Battlefield 3 game infrastructure over the last several days. While the motives are unclear, the focus of the attack has been interference with network communications preventing access to multiplayer gameplay. At this point, no user data is involved. We share your frustration about the impact this has had to our service and the ability for many of you to play Battlefield 3. We are working tirelessly to mitigate the problem. As a part of our efforts to resolve these issues, we’ve conducted rolling restarts of Battlefield infrastructure servers to apply some updates. Thank you for your patience and support while we work to get everyone back and playing Battlefield 3 as soon as possible. More updates to come. /DICE Team

You mean you guys don't really have a clue how they hacked your servers so best get the windows updates all done just in case its a vulnerability in one of them. Stable Door ? Bolted Dice ? ring any bells ?
 
Let's get just hope they get it sorted soon. Was so frustrating last night. Just dirty LAG all night. No disconnects for me though luckily.

Took them about a month to sort the sims problem out, this looks like its heading the same way.

There really needs to be a law, where customers should get some money back. Total fiasco, I pay for a game I cant play. Joke of a company

Not going to buy anything with EA logo on it.

Great news that Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3 did not meet the sales expectations. Could not have happened to a better company. May it long continue.

You have said that you won't play the game because its 'unbalanced', now you want compensation for not been able to play a game that you don't want to play. Honestly we have DG for trolling BF games/EA, and you just aren't in the same league :D

If you or any other posters from the EA forums (I'm assuming by the general tone of your posts you are a regular over there) want to blame someone, then blame the *****s that attacked the servers. EA should have responded quicker but seriously wake up and give yourself a shake you are making yourself sound like a serial nut job. This has been one week out of something like 2 years of gaming.

You don't like the game, you constantly quit because you are losing (subtle hint, this is what causes the balance issues) and most of your posts are winging about a computer game.
 
Struggled to play at all last night.

Never seem to find any maps I want to play either. Haven't got into caspian, noshahr canals or kharg island that much but thats all that seems to be played in HC! Much prefer Siene, Grand Bazaar etc
 
Is this affecting origin as well guys? Just need to download endgame to complete my bf3 installation on a new ssd. Unfortunately my backup didnt contain it. Getting incredibly slow speed on origin.
 
I can join games okay - but transitioning between games normally ends up with me kicked.

EDIT: Not sure what the state of Origin downloads is, but I wouldn't be surprised if they are also being affected.

Must be the case, aside from the slow speed, (87k) ive been getting download errors reported in origin.
