the landslide wins absolutely ruin this game.
Hope to god dice have done something about it in bf 4.
Taking a long think about it.
I don't think DICE can. The problem as I see it is that battlefield has quite a high skill ceiling. To control recoil, play tactically, learn when to push, when not to push, awareness etc.. is just too much for the average gamer.
The other day I was pushing along a ridge line and wasn't watching my left flank as a team mate was beside me. Some guy appears out of nowhere and shoots me. My team mate carries on blissfully unaware of the gun shots, the blip on the mini map, or that the person behind him has jjust vanished. He just carries on "La La La La La" and sure enough gets shot as well.
THere is no entrance exam to play Battlefield. So every team is going to get numpties on it. As soon as you end up with a team with a squad or two of proficient players. Its game over and the landslide just can't be tipped without half the losing side leaving and replacing them with decent players.
Yes not everybody has the time to get proficient with a game, which is why people like this should be allowed to play. But its the proper balance between these players and the tactical battlefield players that needs to be maintained.
Problem is, you can't tell which a player is by stats alone. A player may be a great team player, help take obvjective and overall contribute to killing the enemy team. But only have a 1.0 KD ratio.
Equally you might get some guy with a 8.0 KD ratio who does **** all for his team because he just has a medic train behind him constantly reviving him while he spawn kills people.
This is why even the community made auto balance plugins can't manage to balance the games either.
Some admins must stack the teams too as in quite a few servers you will often see all the low ranks on one team and high ranks in the other team.
overall they don't. It happens on consoles as well, on the DICE servers that never have any admins and use vanilla rules.
