Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

Why we dont have that much admins on (while we have a ****eload) is that people are done with this game.

BF4 is coming a couple months to late, **** im proud tbh that we can at least fill 2 servers a day, and 3 if we (the admins) feel like doing so.

We got a proper report a player on the server now. Which is used a lot. And if admins are playing something else ( fifa :D ) regulars will nag us anyway to deal with them and it will get solved.

To be alive and kicking after 2 years in the summertime and dice/ea dropping the ball BIG time (wheres the last patch to fix it all, or at least try to do etc etc) and at the end off this game aint bad.

about the cq247 situation, i think we all agree to keep it classy. Thats towards my fellow admins on these forums. No need to spread the dirt on here. no one cares.
 
Hmm that might be why then as I just remembered that I always found 64 player servers to be laggy regardless of the map, shame as there aren't many aftermath servers that aren't 64 player :(



Had some great games today, all very close and teams were well balanced.

****es me of so much that DICe didn't address the remaining issues in BF 3 but have done so in BF 4 :mad:

Fed up with recon not being rewarded as well as they should be for spotting, soflam etc. i.e. on rush karg the first base when you're defending SOFLAM is VITAL for that part and if used properly with a few javs. it can be the difference between losing or keeping that base. I planted the SOFLAM at the top and just kept marking out all the tanks, boats and had about 3 guys with the jav so they were lucky if they even made it to land :D Was boring as hell just sitting there not to mention not getting well rewarded for essentially having the most important role at that time but it had to be done otherwise we would have just got walked all over as that is what usually happens with that first base......
 
No problems here with 64 player servers on either of my systems until im in a b2k map, cpu usage go's up a bit and it doesnt feel as smooth. Even more pronounced on my i7 930 based system, though tbf it's ran at stock now and only has a gtx 650ti 2gb gpu.
 
metabans only means he is banned by a random server.

Could be about using a m320 on a server not allowed. so bassicly metabans means nothing.

Pbbans is what matters

Seriously wtf is up with butt hurt admins........ 4 of them were on the other team and won 3 or 4 rounds in a row but were losing this round (not by too much either), kick/ban the players that are doing well just so they can win no doubt, pathetic.

DICE/EA would win me over if they could come up with something to reduce this problem in BF 4 or have a report server button or something so that you can post the message/reason used etc. and once they check it out for themselves and they see that admin powers are being abused then they can take the server down straight away :) Although they would need to take it seriously otherwise it would just end up like the "report cheater" button........ i.e. useless

haha, decided to be a big fat noob on scrap metal there, we were controlling the top area where you have the two stair ways up, I was covering one and there were a ton of enemies trying to come up so the c4 spam train came along :p and never before have I got so many kills in such a short period of time, they just kept coming and coming :D Respect to the other team for not spamming the chatbox with "C4 noob" etc.

Yeah I went back to normal again as I couldn't find many good servers on hardcore (especially for the aftermath maps) and plus got fed up with there being too many campers! As much as I hate the kill cam and spotting, they do help to prevent camping or at least allow you to know where they are hiding so you can get your revenge! :D

Even if they have un-banned me, I am avoiding that server from now on, **** poor admining, they should have checked my stats etc. before taking any action........ not ban and then check afterwards.....

Too many idiot admins on servers now, I'm just out of a game where the admin and one of his cronies were spamming tv missiles into the Russian spawn, accusing our team of camping while hammering away with the main cannon to boot, could barely get out of spawn. But as long as his team was winning he obviously didn't care what happened.

So he gets a flanker rammed into his viper, I get kicked, re-join, again another flanker slaps into his viper, didn't even bother trying to shoot him down, just a nice kamikaze run each time. One time I told him I was coming to ram him he responds "you can try", again, flanker up the vipers poopchute. Far more satisfying that way, gonna play like a bitch expect to get treated like one.

Can get it way cheaper elsewhere. Armoured kill is a bit Meh but I like Bandar desert. The other expansions are alright. End game and aftermath seem to be the best ones.
