You can use the editor for just changing settings or key bindings. It isn't the color mod.

eg I used it to set my TV missles control to WSAD for those big curves although mouse does faster curve, lots of curve TV's get tiring. It is also useful for backing up your settings and fine tuning mouse sens for Inf / Vehicle.

I'm sure low pings are penalised in bf3 too. I usually ping 17-18 on 247 but often people with 80 pings or so can toast me in one bullet. My reg increases if my housemate is watching YouTube or something. Everyone I point q bullet at dies so quickly whilst I remain almost invincible or so it seems.

I know there wilk be people out there generating false lag to benefit and that annoys me

it is in the game regardless of what some of these say .

its too compensate for people with bad pings but it ends up punishing people with lower pings . like in bops 2 they added lag compensation.

go play on a 200 ping server look at your bullet reg.
 
Bf3 settings editor is just the same in-game settings but u can change them before u play... the colour grading was colour tweaker which got patched ages ago, realmware tried a work around but they couldn't get around the new coding...

I've not once been kicked or banned from punkbuster.. only bad admins who have ggc or meta banned my guid!

0.0385 I use for infantry 720p res fov 90 I've always been a low sense user takes me ages to do a 360 lol

Vehicles I use 0.80 1080p res 90 fov
 
Yeah just remembered the colour tweaker was a different tool, shame they can't get it working :( Just using some sweetfx config to bring some proper colour to the game.

I don't really mess about with the settings and don't use aircraft much so settings editor doesn't provide me with much :p


Have been watching a bit about the network slider on youtube and the general consensus seems to be; apply it a bit above your ping so if you get around 30 ping, put it to half way/50, I actually had mine at 1/3 so moved it to about 50 (since my ping is around 30-40 usually) and it does seem a bit better/more responsive, not just when shooting people but also when I get shot, just a more snappy feeling.....

Anything other then off and tv missile like trying to fly a fridge... it's way to heavy... with network smoothing off tv is a lot more responsive.
 
Is the Deathadder 2013 better than a G400? i used the previous Deathadder which i find better than my current G400 as G400 feels a bit too small for my hands only downside with the Deathadder was a rare bug where your cursor would randomly spin around insanely fast upwards ingame.
 
I am going to experiment a bit for myself again later and see what works out best, lot of mixed opinions on where to put the slider.


I love the G400. Use a polling rate of 500 and DPI of 1800. Personally the only thing I prefer about the deathadder is the feel (the finish of the plastic) and looks. I think the design of the G400 suits my hand better, just feel like I have more control.
 
Got a g400 in my draw and deathadder is superior in every way! The 2013 version is faultless!

Claw grip = deathadder
Palm grip = g400

It really is just the shizzle compared to my MX518. Oh and yeah desk sized cloth matt + low lift off distance with ultra low sens.

I have heard a lot of people say I should try 720 for Inf. May do tomorrow, tonight I am too tired for gaming :(
