Too many ******* admins, much better on the 360.

Not allowed to kill admin, get called bad shot and killed "by admin" at every respawn until quit, 3 games that happened lastnight to me and a couple friends. Then we had admin swapping players into teams, low levels in one level 100's in another.

The game looks 1000x better than 360 but must say the community isn't working for me.

lol a quick look on youtube says that's ********.

People are people, doesn't matter if its pc or console there will always be ***** playing.

Baffles me where the hell people are finding these servers? Maybe I suck too much to get admin killed :(

I find pushing the contrast up a little helps cut the smoke a bit. Although you will get lots of dust from vehicles regardless.

any of the colour tweakers still work?

why is there so much smoke in this game even in places with no action

The random fog in this game does my head in. Even on low settings it seems to be there.

Metro from B below towards C (left side) and grand bizaar at C at the white truck are the worst...

I wouldn't consider myself a pro, an average player at best finishing mid table (apart from on the 360 I had mpv 1-2-3 a lot of the time) I'll admit I played it a lot more on the 360 but honestly didn't come across any admins that would abuse there powers like I have in my short time on PC, going to stick to servers that I enjoy instead of going random.

hc or normal and what gamemode you want to play?

Have had amazing matches the last few nights (rush game mode)! Probably the best in a long time. Surprising considering the number of newbies/low ranks since that humble bundle thing so you would think the gameplay would be worse.........

Best of all, no kicks/bans by butthurt admins :D

Since getting back into this game big time (even watching a ton of xfactor, lvlcap etc. videos, which have given great tips), I am getting use to the recoil etc. again and if I keep playing the way that I have been for the last few weeks/month, I think I could hit 3.5-4 K/d with about another 50-100 or so hours of gameplay (although that time could vary massively either way depending on what maps, type of matches etc. I play.........). So sticking with these weapons for the time being:

M16
ACWR
AS VAL
And when sniping, the JNG

And of course.............the MAGNUM!

My favourite tactic lately is using c4 to kill enemies on the other side of the wall or/and drop below stairs etc. :p :D

Should be able to hit the max rank before bf 4, might need to play a fair bit of CQ though :p Currently rank 75 with 219 hours of gameplay and a SPM of 659

I know this probably won't get much sympathy here, but I can't believe how badly integrated the Xbox control pad is in BF3 on the PC (and presumably, any pad)

For instance, if you play the campaign with the pad - the quicktime events display mouse buttons on screen, to which the corresponding button on the pad does nothing during the QTE. I'd have thought by now they would have patched this. Bearing in mind it works flawlessly on the Xbox.

I think I was just shocked compared with pretty much every recent steam game which simply converts the controls over as soon as you fire up the pad.

Got this in the bundle, tried it last night.

As a complete newby, didn't get as badly ruined as I expected, but it was quite bad.

Is it my imagination, or is the russian basic assualt weapon MUCH better than the US one?

Yes it's your imagination. There are loads of level 100 no-life's still running M16A3 which is pretty much the most common weapon. I don't use it that much though, working through all the weapons. On the Aug A3 ATM and I quite like it.

augs a pretty sweet gun and if i play it i use that quite a bit. was playing okay yesterday with the scar .

funny thing was choosing random servers and got kicked from 4 servers for just playing

my mate was even banned on one for 24 hrs for throwing a grenade :p no warnings on there i give up with bf3 i think :D

I found the burst fire to be really offputting.

I did enjoy one TDM game where someone in my squad actually took the time to says "******* hell, my newby's spotting", because I managed to find the Q button. I take it that's not something a lot of folks do? It seemed to be par for the course in BFBC2.

Dude don't use the M16A4 burst fire weapon..it's gash unless you put hrs and hrs into it to master the rhythm of it.

The reason you are finding the RU weapons easier is because they are easier to handle due to the slower fire rate. The US weapons are far more deadly as fire rate is a massive factor in BF3. Use assault kit > unlock m416 for use on RU side > unlock AEK and with 416 / AEK combo you can destroy all.

Spot and engage is good practice. Even just spotting even if you won't be able engage (target too far away perhaps) can really help your team.
