There are a lot of accusations but some are legit. It's usually easy enough to work it out but there are some very good players out there. There are also those that know how to glitch the map, take advantage of minor bugs to give an advantage or sit in their helicopter, high above the map, out of stinger/Igla range and let their gunner use Zoom and TV to rape the map with almost total impunity.

Yup ever since the humble bundle deal, there definitely seems to be some right dodgy players again.....
I wouldn't be surprised if there were a number of people on this forum using some form of a cheat, more likely stuff like the macros so you have no recoil etc.
Although due to this game and the way it is with the netcode, bugs as mentioned above and other things like barrels, fallen trees etc. (pretty much anything that isn't actually joined to the ground like a rock etc.) not been shown on other players screen despite being shown on your screen (posted a video of this somewhere in here) means it is harder to detect a cheater in this game than most other games.

I'd be interested in knowing who here has been caught hacking that's all as I bet some of them are the ones who think they're something special at BF3.

Crinkleshoes is a confirmed hacker and I believe Neil79 did on DayZ / WarZ although I need confirmation on that one. Neil certainly never had haax playing BF3...2ez

Definitely know that someone admitted to cheating on this forum and iirc his reason was "I have a job, family and so don't have the time to put into this game in order to get good etc." yeah you mean just like the majority of players out there then..........

And there was another guy who denied it completely but it was so obvious from how he played, extremely twitchy and never missed and iirc there was also a big debate about him in the bc 2 thread, can't remember his exact name though, iirc Lander or something?

On the plus side, I think his bf 3 account was eventually banned after numerous reports from myself and many other people on here (I remember he kept changing his bl/origin name to try and hide his tracks but it didn't work as I kept his unique number ID and just reposted his new profile/name on the anti cheater platoon for the other 100 members etc. to report

Love the AS VAL
Silencer for CQ maps is easily the best combo, the enemy team don't have a clue where there team mates are being killed from so it allows you to get some pretty great kill streaks (especially when half the time, most of the team are grouped together, just pop out, fire 25-30 bullets, pop back in, reload, rinse and repeat)
Have also switched back to the rex handgun, need the faster rate of fire
Love the AS VAL
Silencer for CQ maps is easily the best combo, the enemy team don't have a clue where there team mates are being killed from so it allows you to get some pretty great kill streaks (especially when half the time, most of the team are grouped together, just pop out, fire 25-30 bullets, pop back in, reload, rinse and repeat)

I got banned yesterday for going on BnB server on my 2nd account (main account banned) instant banned after 5 minutes... completely turned the game around 3 man squad.... went on there teamspeak to ask why and and they said 100 % hacker which I asked to prove with evidence obviously they couldn't... pathetic lol think they was bit shocked that 3 cG peeps stormed onto there ts3

DICE/EA really need to implement some server rating system on battlelog, something like what anderzel suggested would be good imo, search "Battlefield 3 - Anderz Banned! (Viper Gameplay)" on youtube (can't link due to bad language), starts talking about it at 8.40.
One main reason for the extremely poor admining in this game is that clans are just giving too many people admin rights (especially ones that they don't know that well, see so many servers advertising, sign up to become an admin......), the clan that I was friendly with only give admin rights to very long term members once they knew that they would be trust worthy with the admin powers.
It all depends on the maps for myself Main preference is the magnum for the majority of maps (best iron sights + great hip fire, is a beast for pretty much every range, suppression etc. and most importantly you feel like Rick from the walking dead pulling of all the headshots! ), rex (this will be my main weapon for CQ maps now) or the M1911 (and sometimes the silenced version), quite like the suppressed G18 on CQ maps too.....
On that note about Rick from the walking dead, how cool would it be if we had a zombie mod for his game!?

there was talk of a zombie mod and also on the console version wasnt there something zombie related. maybe on none pb servers it could be done.
as for pistols guess it comes down to what mode you playing hc or normal mode. better off have fast low recoil in hc really but i guess a mag or rex is also good but recoil sometimes is a lie with them. i mainly use unscoped mag.

Setter, I see you have the Maximus Formula, how do you find the onboard sound quality? Do you think a standalone sound card is necessary for casual gaming or the SupremeFX is sufficient?

the Rex has now become my #1 weapon overtaking my previous favourite the 93R.
Its just so much fun to single shot people in the head when you've flanked somebody and got the time to aim. the .44 can do this, but isn't as good for spamming bullets close range when you get caught reloading round a corner.

Not that impressed with the SupremeFX chip at all tbh. For games, movies and music it sounds rather dull and lifeless. I had been using a xonar DX which was excellent for all uses, unfortunately though i cant use it on this board as my cooler blocks the top pcie slot.
There is a slot available between the gpu's, but it would mean obstructing the fans of the top card which runs 15c hotter than the other already. Though i may change the cooler to one of the ocuk fathom liquid cooling kits soon.
Personally I find the 93R to be awful
All in all, I find the pistols to be a wee bit under powered in this game (excluding the rex and magnum), they look a fair bit more powerful in BF 4 i.e. pretty much the same as bc 2 damage system

Got accused of hacking and actually got 3 people to try and voteban me off tonight! 
wierd thing is I wasn't having a very good game and was sitting at 11-11 at the time?! Up on the hill close to the RU base on Op Riverside a guy spawned on on his squadmate so I shot him, ran after his buddy and de-tagged him then he's raging in chat about how I'm a hacker for stabbing him?!?!

Thought I might as well give the aircraft some more play time tonight and bloody hell! The amount of soflam + jav + stinger users (64 man player) there were?!?! I counted 5 solfams on kharg and they were around the entire map so there wasn't really a safe place to "hide" except way behind the hills, although had a few of the enemy team camping up on the hills near the US deployment base with stingers....
Got some decent enough runs with them though (for me), much better with heli piloting than jet piloting, find that I can manoeuvre far better with the heli and more accurate with it, probably doesn't help that I only use WASD + arrow keys But can't get use to keyboard + mouse or the 360 controller.....
Anyone here a good heli pilot that likes flying?
Really want to unlock the TV missiles after watching xfactor's latest heli/gunner videos. Still got 3 unlocks to go before I hit the tv missile unlock

For a heli team, Kharg Rush 64 players is just lovely. In an ideal world we will be part of a complete noob team on high ticket map, who don't PTFO much. Then just before we run out of tickets for the first MCom we manage to get both and then off to the next set of MCom's. 120 kill streak is definitely not out of the realm of possibility.
ps also...I am always the ******* pilot for Kharg Rush, makes me sad. I come away with 10-0 and go dayum that is a great KD for a pilot..blooming gunner walks away with 120-0 grrrr
