Battlefield 4 Recommended Requirements - 3GB Vram

Well i am on Windows 8.1 RTM as of Friday activated and stuff. This windows should be BIG cause i LOVE IT !!!! And i was against 8.

Everything runs better on it. Might be cause of fresh install but I like it :)
Now just waiting for AMD to give me dx11.2 drivers :]

That's a good point. I'll need to upgrade my Windows 8 to 8.1 when its released. Does that mean ill need to do a complete reinstall ? I presume it means i will. It should be released a week or two before Battlefield 4 i think so that gives me plenty of time to get everything in order.

EDIT

Better backup my porn folder while i think of it.

I got mine for 15quid :D students got it cheaper

any students around here that can buy it for me and i will pay them LOL

If you used a dodgy Win 7 serial key to get it, it's not legit :p

The win8 key is perfectly legit. You wont even need to touch win 7 ever again. You can even format the drive reboot and then choose to install and the only thing you have to do to be able to activate is search for MediaBootInstall in the registry and set it to 0 and them type slmgr /rearm in the command prompt.

Just done a fresh install, never needed to touch registry. Key just worked first time.

Good shout Phix, never knew that. As i have an upgrade key ive been using an install key to install windows 8. Then i put in my own key in after its installed and it activates.

That's cos you must have a proper key. I have an upgrade key, but in essence it works the same. With an upgrade key all you need is an install key (which is free for 30 days) first before you can activate.

Mine is upgrade version matt? I never needed windows 7 to install 8. Fresh install on new ssd windows 8 pro upgrade worked first time.
You ever tried just installing?

Or because he is using UEFI secure boot i think its called. If you do that after Win8 has been activated you never need to do anything again no matter how many times you reinstall. Windows saves the activation information in the bios or some part of it, not exactly sure how it works though.

EDIT: I should be more clearer. You need to enable it before installing otherwise its not gonna be used :)

If it requires a legit Win 7 key, it doesn't matter if the Win 8 one is or not. If you don't meet the upgrade requirements legally, your copy is unlicensed, simple as that.

Yes a couple of times. Maybe they've changed it since i last did it a few months back.

This my third time installing. First was upgrade, had couple issues then done fresh, other times.
