Battlefield 4 Thread ~ Server details in opening post ~

I don't own BF4.. so after reading the above comments.. its not because I was banned hah!

but does the mexican proxy still work? Is there a trusted mexican proxy that people have been using?

I really dont want to pay full price but if it can be had for just over £20 then thats not bad, if the mexican proxy is still working ofc

We are working hard to deliver the next server update as quickly as possible to improve stability.

Client Update in the Works
We are also working on upcoming client patches for Battlefield 4 on all platforms. These will contain fixes for crashes and address a number of other issues that you have been feedbacking to us. Patch notes will be posted as we get closer to releasing these updates.

Well its only been a week and I will probs be playing this for a few months , i'm a patient man (most of the time). Get used to the maps until it sorts itself out and then start kicking some @ss

This happened to a few people at the weekend iirc
 
The phrase "net code" is used far too much. I read "the net code is broken!!!1111!!!" All the time recently and am fairly confident that most of the people using the phrase have no idea what it means. Or are unaware that it doesn't really mean anything.

Yes its well known, memory leak bug. Disk and memory at over 90% in task manager. Game grinds to a halt.
I get it too, pc needs resetting. Doesn't happen too often, maybe once, twice a day !

edit, could be ATI related. could be.

p.s not CPU, memory

Just seen the most pathetic server ever. Unless i have misinterpreted the title of the server wrong, the server said; 'Flag Run, No Kill...Auto Kick'. So if that means, capture the flags and no killing, then that is ******* stupid.

As something of a connoissieur of the M320 myself I have been using it quite a bit in BF4 and now that I think back, the crashes happened immediately after every m320 I fired. I just tested it out to confirm. Played a few minutes with no m320, worked fine. Then I fired a single m320 and it crashed again.

Worst still ive been kicked from games because of running. A no running server:confused:

Look at you, you explained why and everything. :rolleyes:

Of course it damned means something, the net code is a bit screwy although I don't complain about it and get on with it. Just because people don't know the technicalities or don't want to explain it word for word, doesn't mean it isn't true.

However everyone knows what you mean when you say it - it doesn't really pay to complicate it.

"Acronym for Network Code. The part of a game or application that handles the communication between the clients, server and/or peers."


Yeah, really difficult to understand the term "net code"...
 
Running pretty good for me now using xfactor settings with 2XFXAA:

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
190062, 1590297, 105, 122, 119.514
 
Thought my PC would handle this as it did with BF3 but i'm getting worse graphics and much worse performance on the same settings. Am I missing something? :confused:
