Everything was updated to latest drivers. Already reinstalled Win7, miles better for me.

Hadn't seen that claim - but so far the "netcode" in this game is barely on par with tribes 1. Watching someone running towards my tank yesterday in a dead straight line for ~100 meters and unable to kill them with the mounted machinegun was really quite depressing*. (I don't have the most amazing aim in the world but during the quakelive beta when I was playing regularly I was consistently in the top5 for accuracy stats and most of the big name pro players i.e. fatal1ty were in the beta so I don't suck that much either).

* Ended up running them over lol (got some "roadkill" type achievement or something that map for running down 10 people in a round).

yep back on 8.0 for me

(no performance difference from 8.0-8.1)

Can't find the source of that info. but am 90% sure that they said that, it was linked in this thread by someone.

I have got loads of roadkills and the best thing is.... I didn't even realise that they were behind me

Yeah I only intentionally ran down about 5 people and unintentionally reversed over someone trying to C4 me dunno where the rest came from.

I could make a really really long post with lots of info on here but it'd take up half the page. So instead of that let me give you a few pointers to try and if anyone wants to go more in depth, feel free to PM me

First thing to do is make sure in windows that you have enhanced pointer precision turned off (acceleration) and check mouse sens is 6 out of 11. This will give you a 1:1 movement ratio.

Hey man just wanted to say thanks for this! Although it hasn't fixed the issues that BF4 has, it has made it a lot easier to target someone. Although it felt odd coming back into windows as I ended up clicking desura, steam and msi by accident

Anyone had problems with your mouse and or joystick becoming unresponsive?

Eventually got it working after a couple of restarts.

Reconnected and retained the unlocks but lost the kills/etc. Had a great round and the server crapped out during the change in round, lost loads again, really getting sick of this.

This is the only game where truly epic things can happen that will blow your mind, like shooting a chopper with a tank shell/rpg, shoot the pilot with a sniper, drive a quad bike full of c4 to a tank, etc. I am loving it
