Great gun but even better is the ACE 21 Carbine, doesn't hit as hard but a lot more bullets will hit. It is statistically the best carbine except maybe the AKU using burst 900RPM. Oh and Will use the Angled grip instead, the Stubby / Potato is fairly useless, it only improves the accuracy penalty of auto fire rather than improving auto fires accuracy.
 
Basically the best guns are the ACE variety it would seem.

I need to play this game some more but doing so much with the house at the moment it's hard to find the time.

Cheers pal, yep as soon as I unlock the angled grip I'll shove it on, should get it today if I churn through some 64 man Lockers :)

I had a look at the other carbines but this one just clicked, much like the asval for me in bf3, when you know, you know :p
 
I tried to figure that site out a few days ago. It is just way too complicated for a pensioner like me, I like to just pick up a gun, point and click and gauge its effectiveness :)
 
sigh my k/d ratio took a massive hit this morning not sure whats up with the reg having to hit people 4 times with a sniper riffle and dmr but still not getting the kill or seeing the trail go straight through them with not hit confirm to get killed in return makes me annoyed :/

and i play close quarters with the sniper rifles / dmr so its even more harder when the reg is bad

Should do, I am their competitive teams 8vs8 / 10vs10 Heli pilot / gunner. If anyone wants further info regarding Symthic and or it laid out in layman's terms just ask. I will then go talk to some of the far more geeky people @ Symthic and pretend their response is my own, making me seem far more intelligent than I am :D

I though the ACWR was one of the best carbines? It's fast, decent velocity and average accuracy. Range is good also as is the reload speed.

They pretty much ruin BF. Whenever i join a server i'm always nervous if i get kicked for my nationality - they say "play on a server in your own country" - or for Admins that can't accept a good player when they see one (i'm not great but i do get moments where i feel godlike).

Thankfully i play on TFU's server now (they know me), or British ones when i can find them.

The ACE 52 has the damage and range which I think makes it a better conquest gun for me. I think for TDM/Domination you may want to use the higher rate of fire guns like the AEK/ACR.

Might try the ACE 21 though.

ACE 52 has better damage yes, but the range (Max distance and velocity) is lower. That and the rate of fire and magazine size being lower, means that i'd choose the ACW-R.

Really does depend on your style of play i suppose and what works for you.

Edit: AK5C looks damn good.

I've got a question regarding the tactical map. If I press M, can I have the tactical map on a separate screen while playing the game at the same time. If so hows it done? Do I drag tac map across to second monitor for instance?
