Once you install that you will have to install another small package, you will see the instructions when you run the program. Forget about AIDA/IBT/Prime/XTU etc. Just use your PC for testing and tune when necessary.

And no I haven't fixed my BSOD's yet, still messing with Vcore/Vrin/vring.

Thanks I'll take a look.

Still hoping my issue was a one off, especially as I'm running at stock. Fingers crossed and all that. :(:)

Don't forget the patch will cost money too.
 
So I have been having great success lately. Even to the point where people have fired a whole mag at me, and I only see them in time to fire one shot off before dying, and that shot insta-kills them with no headshot reward! But of course, corellating with this immense "luck" there is a browser and game update which will no doubt ruin it all for me.
The unlock guns made it a lot easier, the SCAR is a beast but has big recoil, the M416 is a beast and has no recoil, but having most luck running around as Recon with AK5-C, red dot scope, C4, Thermal Bino's and V40 mini grenades. It is so fun to kill people up close and then jump off a building onto a tank, blow it up with C4 and kill any survivors with the AK5!
 
I've just logged into origin for the first time since the patch release. It trys to start the download, comes up with the download box and shows the file as 1018.55Mb, but then straight away just get another pop up box saying "Download failed" with no clue given as to why..

Any ideas?

I initially installed BF4 to my E:\Program Files(x86)\Origin Games\ folder but moved it to my origin folder on my C:\ (SSD) last week and created a windows link pointing to the new location.. could that be the cause? The game has played fine since I did this.
 
This whole situation reminds me of when Apple release new versions of iOS and there's a mad rush to download it all at the same time.

Did you change the install location in Origin settings?

- I seem to remember reading something about changing the game install location in origin,
- then starting to download the game. Pausing it,
- closing Origin,
- then copying the BF4 directory from your old location into the new location,
- opening up Origin,
- then un-pausing it, it has a think about it for a while, you may need to check game then it should be all good.


On a side note, I have actually been enjoying Domination much more than I thought I would and it's good for unlocking weapons.
But, my favourite mode has actually been Obiliteration. I used to play nothing but 64 player Conquest, as that is what makes a battlefield game a battlefield game but the BF4 maps just seem too small and instant vehicle spawn taking away from the combined arms action.
