Is it slow as this to update for anyone else?
EDIT: Woo just jumped to 3.85mbps back in business!
i turned on my pc, and by the time i went back to it a few mins later it had already installed

Not sure DICE are actually testing these server patches anymore....

but in your player stats, there is a section, 'skill'
does anyone know how this is worked out exactly?
i've had a few games where i have done brilliant, capture flags, revive/resupply team mates and it'll drop. and othertimes when i have a not so good game, it will shoot up.
i'd like to know what it's actually based on. any ideas?

I refuse to spawn in Stealth Jets. I HATE people who use vehicles to get to locations and dump them (looking at you Recon) but in all seriousness as of RIGHT NOW the stealth jet is most useful being used as quick transport then being dumped. Worthless as a combat vehicle.
Don't get me started on people who do that... grrrr
I wouldn't say that they are completely useless. I would guess that once they are kitted out with 30mm cannons and laser guided bombs they can do quite a bit of damage to ground targets. Hopefully they will be patched to make them better in the anti air role as well.

Surprised people are still having issues with the game, it's working flawlessly for me now.
Hello all, just before I give up and cry........... I have downloaded the latest BF4 patch and upon trying to join a game, I am told to download a new BF4 browser plugin. This I have done but having pressed 'run' nothing appears to happen. Any ideas?

All the QA crew are too busy playing on the new PS4 to be testing a silly patch.

Use Chrome instead of IE for Battlelog, works for me
this is because IE security settings are too high.
you can use IE11, but use the Trusted Sites tab:
use the trusted sights tab, in internet settings. Medium, low security. then add *.battlefield.com in the list of sites.

The lag is just bloody awful my end!
Hit a guy 6 times in the face and I died in one hit, some are not taking hitmarkers at all! Getting killed around corners and splash damage from grenades nowhere near me. This is all after the patch
