With any luck cod might even move on with their 'new' (believe it when I see it) engine to again coincide with next gen. My guess is it will still offer nothing but even sillier perks.

For BF I think its clear the commander mode etc is long gone. Shame they felt the need to try and reach out to the DG market

Really only so far you can dumb a game down :rolleyes:

I enjoyed all the battlefield series but begrudged paying for the DLC'S. What ever happened to free map packs etc for there loyal fan base.

Bring BFBC2 collapsible buildings to BF4, that would be good. I sort of expected it to be carried over to BF3 but ended up disappointed.

When millions paid for maps on CoD4 it effectively blew ANY chance of major free DLC out of the water. Sure there's still some free stuff from some Devs/publishers but if they can charge for it and people will buy it, then they'll charge for it. ME3 has got some free MP DLC coming as well as paid SP DLC for example, but any major game will inevitably have some paid DLC.

Considering the outright lies form Dice about modding tools i doubt ill bother my ass with BF 3.25. Before launch they were considering releasing tools, then when they got everyones money the BS excuses started coming.

Pretty obvious they had no intententions whatsoever of releasing tools but just held off on giving a definitive answer till after the game launched.

Im also sick to death of "Modern Combat", id love a return to a WW2 setting but i doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

Whereas I feel that WW2 has been done to death and doesn't interest me. No helicopters, crappy tanks, rubbish planes, guns that aren't so great and that have been done a dozen times already. I'd go absolutely nuts over BF2143 though.

think youll find no one paid a penny for cod 4 maps

one of reasons why its still busy .

would like a good upto date ww2 but EA wont get any money from me for bf simply because they cant make a proper pc mp title.

BF2 was my introduction to online gaming.
I enjoy BF3 and BFBC 2.
MOH limited edition was a complete waste of money.
I'll be buying BF4.

I hope they improve the core gameplay, and add destruction back into the game.

I hope they don’t raise the system requirements too high tho... my pc is only 6 months old.

Not full collapsing of buildings like in bfbc2. On certain buildings you can blow out peices of the walls.

One of the biggest disappointments in BF3 for me.

I loved C4'ing the crap out of buildings in BC2.

Some buildings you can totally flatten in bf3, looks like crap though.

Ive noticed a few on seine crossing and grand bazzar that do fall down after a while. But i miss the destruction kills you got in bc2 when you brought down a building with people in it. In bf3, your more likely to be "bad luck" killed tripping on a kerb or jumping a fence.

As far as i know, the only building you can collapse in BF3 is the single story building with stairs that go up the side of the building.

As someone said above, i loved C4'ing buildings to get campers out of the very top floors. It was far more realistic than now when blast a wall with a T90 and you get a big cloud of dust and an unscratched wall.
