Did 1100 hours on BF3 and like a fool paid top price for this game which aint gonna see 100 hours, im off to buy some rope and find a tree :mad:

Nexus finds his voice at last. Gonna be interesting to hear him now you've bigged him up. I thought he'd have that Arnie in Terminator thing going on , or robocop (come quietly or there will be trouble ;))
 
The last 2 patches (with China Rising) have seemed to work wonders for my stability. No crashing to Desktop so far, and FPS on my 2GB 680s in SLI @ 2560x1440 has evened out to produce much less lag and stutter (settings are at "HIGH" mind). Also, very importantly, the incidences of BS kills/deaths have reduced greatly.

Will need at least a week's worth of play to be sure, but first signs are positive.

I agree with this statement. Min FPS and average FPS are definately higher on all China Rising Maps and Hainan resort. The game suffers less lag generally and stability has improved. I had one BSOD last night with 6-7hrs played (This may have been the 4.7Ghz overclock at 1.51v's though)

I can t beleive how ineffective Halo's are against LAv's and kurdistans. These AA's are totally overpowered against attack copters!!!

I tried Recon/DMR for the first time last night and ahcieved a 14-1 kd which surprised me. The DMR's are very powerful in BF4.

+1, I want the M39 EMR but can't for the life of me bring myself to try and unlock it!

I have one kill with the first DMR, the irons suck, the damage sucks and the recoil is pony! Think I'll go on locker and just try hip fire till I unlock a scope!

Need to get my M98, need 3 more kills!

Three brilliant games in a row last night. It did crash at the end of the last one but other than that it was great. I was also lucky enough to find most of a squad on a pub for once, maxed out field upgrades for once were nice. On the whole, this can be a great game.
 
Haven't had this long on PC but I'm a pretty decent player. Looking for some people to join up with as getting fed up of playing on my own! Have a good mic and TS if required.

Troll, there's a spreadsheet link on the first page of the thread. I just lifted a load of contacts from there and struck it lucky. Had some good games with a couple of the guys!
 
Arrghhh!!

Idiots who cant pilot helicopters and boats do my nut in.

If you are a pilot of a helicopter with a bunch of squaddies in the back you have one thing to do and that is to take them to high ground (roof tops) then you can go twatting around and not shoot anything. I was in one and the pilot was all over the place so you couldn't even get a good shot off at targets. Then there was the tool who thought it was best to go off the map and sit there like some 'tard till the timer ran out.

Same for that gun boat, I was in one last night on the gattling gun and the idiot pilot decided he would rather drive it up on to a beach where it got stuck or not even move the boat to get different firing positions, when I asked if he can move the boat he replys "no". what a _____.
 
Its amazing the amount of players that do things like that. Also, 'parking' the boat in the middle of the water while they try and snipe something with their primary, offering up free shots to the entire enemy team seems quite a common one.... :/




EDIT:
Interesting interview from jack here, But, I have never seen any weather 'levolution' in any of the CR maps yet.... :confused:
