Battlefield:Bad Company 3 Thread!

Yup starting to see some sources saying the bc 3 news is fake.

Either way, if it took over a year for me to buy bf 1 in the end..... It'll be interesting to see how long it will take for me to buy the next bf :D

Problem with dice/ea, they never listen to the beta/alpha feedback or even the feedback on release instead they always just wait until the numbers dwindle big time and then they listen......

Have to laugh though at the usual youtube ronku whore lot already bigging it up and saying how this game will require the most skill seen in a BF game, deja vu anyone? :D Each BF game has become more casual every time......

Someone really needs to make an updated version of this:

Sorry chaps, have to think of the ***REMOVED*** on this forum :D

I thought they announced a few months back that a new Battle Field game was arriving in the next finical year. I took that that to mean a new BF (5 or 2) in the normal Oct release schedule so Oct 2018. Not BC3.

Re: Hazards video are we getting BC3 from Dice LA in 2018 or WW2 from Dice Sweden?

My take is that both are in production and that the initial leak that suggested the next title was bc3 was wrong and that the next bf title is essentially bf1 reskinned as bf2 set in ww2. It could all just be misdirection though.
My other take is that Daq doesn't have a lot of time for levelcap.

@Nexus18 Inappropriate video is inappropriate, please remove it.

Day 1 / 1 year later the result is the same, you still paid in - they don't mind which. :D All that drama and you bought it anyway, so funny sorry.

Not really, look at any entertainment sector, the first day/weekend/week is what matters the most for these companies, they won't care about who buys their product a year later, that is why denuvo was/is highly praised as it protect(ed) the product for the first week of the most important sale period.

Also, the difference was between me paying £28 or £60+ for the full edition, how much did day 1 buyers pay again...... :D :D :D If I hadn't bought the premium pack, I would have had it for free as I had origin access (for other games) but I wanted to play on dlc maps with the crew so not much choice in the end and the game was more playable too.

Main reasons I got it in the end:

1. they adjusted some of the things I hated after the player base dropped massively
2. The biggest reason....... SWBF 2 being a complete disaster (played the beta) so I needed something to tide me over until my next MP FPS game

If they pull the same **** as they have for swbf 2 then it will be a no buy again until they fix/improve the game i.e. when the people who jump aboard the hype train finally start to realise how **** the game really is.

I just wish the majority of people had more will power and stopped creaming themselves over fancy trailers and refused to pre-order the game until it did what they wanted, we wouldn't have to wait for dice/ea to improve/fix the game 6+ months later but alas, majority of people have no will power or/and principles these days, as said many times before, the problem is not these publishers/developers, it is the weak minded consumers.

Got to say though, so happy to see the SWBF 2 community standing strong, it is estimated that SWBF 2 sales were down 52% on the first game and down 61% for physical copies in the UK  Lets just hope their knees don't buckle and lets hope the BF community are as strong, something tells me they won't be though, as soon as that epic zOMG trailer arrives, people will be unzipping their trousers and bending over :D

2016 or 2017 profit's they don't mind you added to their end of year return at some point. Denuvo is different, it just stops pirates in the first couple of weeks of release in hope they get fed up and buy it anyway, you Nexus are not a pirate, at least where BF games are concerned. What you do do though is fill this forum with reasons on how ***** the game is and how you won't buy it due to these reasons, then buy it anyway some time down the line and clock up as many hours as the people who bought it on day one within your first few months of owning it.
I'm not saying what you complain about is wrong, at least some of the time. I just don't get why you go to such lengths to discriminate the game when you know you'll end up buying it. Why not just say until they fix "x" and "y" I won't be buying it but when they do I will, better than the walls of text that put easily influenced people off.

And the reason they want to stop pirates even just for a week/month is because that is their most important sale period, it is the exact same for films and the box office. Denuvo and game companies have said that is the whole point they add DRM, they want to secure as many sales as possible in that incredibly important sales window. Share holders etc. aren't going to care about what an old game makes a year later as most of the sales have been done (hence why they eventually also add the game to ea access for free), all they care about is the next game due for release. Although this will change now with the market moving towards micro transactions.....

And yes, if they change the stuff I complain about then I will happily buy/play the game, did they completely remove all the stuff I hate(d) in bf 1 i.e. elites, behemoths etc.? No. But it is a damn sight better than what they were like at launch/beta, unfortunately all the stuff I hate in games/bf is just a common "feature" of gaming now, nothing will change so I just have to make compromises.

And that is the whole point of my posts! :p To put people of buying the game, the less people that pre-order/buy the game, the more likely DICE/EA etc. are to act on the changes that we want to see "before" release ;) :D Just have to look at swbf 2, if people didn't post about the micro-transactions before/on day of release i.e. pay to win/progress then ea/dice wouldn't have done anything at all for at least 4/6 months. EDIT: I like to think I bring everything back to reality with the amount of hype created by trailers and the youtube ronku whore lot too :p ;)

PS. I only have 117 hours in bf 1, most people who bought it on release day have close to a thousand hours or more. I'm not expecting to get anywhere close to a thousand hours again, well I don't think I'll ever clock that many hours in a game again.

I haven't played bf 1 anywhere near as much as what I did with bf 4, bf 4 it was guaranteed, we would be on every night for 3+ hours, bf 1, lucky to be on more than 4 times a week and for more than a hour or 2..... It is a better and more fun game than it was at release but it is still very poor when compared to bf 3 and 4.

WW2, Vietnam, Battlefield or BC - either or I'm not fussed, I'll buy it & play it.

I just wish DICE would say something so all those "youtoobers" can stop making gash videos about what it could be.

Sign me up. Looking forward to this.

Some very good fun games of BC2 back in the day. No BF game since has managed to capture the same sort of interest. Piled so many hours into SQDM.

yeah I’ve not enjoyed a bf game since bc2. Bf3 and 4 were pants. I actually gave my premium bf3 and 4 accounts away for free. Never bothered with bf1 cause I know it’s crap.

Hopefully if it turns out to be BFBC3 the maps aren't filled with horrid choke points and noobtube projectiles/infinite nades

Not even excited any more. I would have loved a bad company 3 but have no faith in DICE or EA, they **** every game up. Last good Battlefield was BC2.

My all time favorite was 2142, closely followed by BC2.
I enjoyed both BF3 and 4 but wasn't impressed with 1 and didn't buy it.

Well I hope I can play this one in multiplayer as I have never been able to play BF1 in multiplayer and have found no fix for my issues. All my other Battlefield games work like a dream multiplayer, but as soon as I go BF1, select a server ANY server (even those showing 20ms PINGS on the browser screen) and enter a game, I get 2000ms PINGS. Every time, doesn't matter what server I pick, what location, what PING. I have found no solution except 1000 experts telling me 1000 incorrect reasons for it. I am VERY disapoint

Run adw cleaner

Few more details, he seems to suggest this time both BC3 and WW2 will come out close to each other, I'm betting no Starwars 2019 instead we'll get BC3. Though this would suggest no DLC for WW2 which they normally spread out over 18 months after release, so no premium?
