Battlefield:Bad Company 3 Thread!

Here's hoping for one Mar/April 2018, either BC3 or WW2 will do me.

No premium wouldn't be a bad thing if they include a decent amount of maps, they need to trim down the amount of game modes imo. Either way more BF the better, just hope the don't make it crazy casual.
 
April would but nice but I can't see it, they love doing their big reveals in E3. I'm betting October 2018 WW2 and October 2019 BC3.

Edit: Though saying that we saw BC1 in June and BC2 in March before.
 
Yeah they need at least 3 big *Game Engine Footage trailers before the release, not a bad thing as they do a hella good trailer normally.

I'd be happy with an MP only game - I know that's a selfish view but I don't think I've completed a BF single player since 3 and I'm not 100% sure if I completed that.
 
Yeah don't really care for SP anymore. I want full gun customization back like BF3 and 4, not gun "variant" crap we have in BF1. Even if it was WW2 I'm sure they could still do this.
 
Omg OMG omg omg OMG!! Really hope this rumour is true if they can make it as good as BC2, or completely false if they can’t, as I hate when they split the community further. I still try to have a blast on BC2 from time to time, my all time favourite game second only to Raven Shield.

youtuber ALMIGHTYDAQ who's called other titles correctly is saying BC3 coming this year, supposedly sourced from an insider at DICE!

Announcement due at E3 2018!

I am literally already excited to see how much they destroy this great franchise and how many loot boxes I'm gonna buy!

And it turns out DAQ has already pointed out that there are two games in production and that bc3 is not likely for next year (probably 2019). DICE Sweden are working on a WW2 game using the current frostbyte engine. Currently that is the version expected for 2018 (Unless Daq is really trolling in which case it'll be 2143)
 
I so want this to be true, but am going to put my excitement to one side and keep my scepticism. If this is ever released and if they don't ruin it with pay to win features, I'll bite.
 
How are people getting excited for this given the travesty and economies of BF4, BF1 and Battlefront 2?
Surely it's obvious that these will be nothing but micro transaction infected, sniper laden, pew pew simulators with stuff hidden behind grind or paywalls, yet for some reason people seem to be lining up with bank cards at the ready to drop a whole load of their hard earned on these scammers.

Maybe I'm just too old to understand why? :D

It can be explained with three words for the people who are excited, rose tinted glasses.

I have fond memories of Bad Company 2, but that doesn't automatically mean i'm jumping on this game, EA have messed releases up since BF4 and topped it off with the microtransaction and grind time sink in an effort to get people to pay crystals (i know they're disabled currently) for faster progression in Battlefront 2.
