This looks fun, anything relating to PC, well I m getting a new wheel soon so I can do that.

Oh, liking the sound of this very much. I've been on a bit of a spree recently so multiple reviews could be on the way :)

Possible reviews;
-Plantronics Gamecom 777 5.1 Headset
-Saitek Eclipse 2
-Logitech MX-518
-Logitech G15
-Logitech G500
-Logitech C300 Webcam
-Antec 902
-Antec 1200
-IIyama ProLite B2409HDS
-Sapphire HD5870 Vapor-X
-OcUK Brushed Aluminium BD-ROM

Or I could review my credit card statement :( though I don't think that'd be as much fun :D

Fantastic idea, products reviewed by the people who know/use them and with the forum open to further questions / answers / advice!

I look forward to reading the reviews for sure, if only I could word one together!

:)

i would love to do a headset comparison between logitech G35s and Senn PC350

but im staff so i cant enter

and i have no free time

and i am not the most creative

and you cant overclock headsets :D

I will be writing my review tomorrow night after training.

A recent upgrade and step towards water-cooling gives me a few options.

Best competition yet, thanks OCUK.

Bah, do I take out my 5770 so I can get some proper pics, or do I just be lazy and snap them in the case, but showing off my godawful cable management.
If I win, send me some cable ties to review!

Overclockers UK will be launching a new, improved, dedicated review section on the forum.

Even though the reviews for the competition aren't going to be submitted on the forum this time around future ones will and I take it they will follow the same format listed out in your review template?

If so then you need to change the forum rules -

overclockers review template said:
Find the price and product code on www.overclockers.co.uk. If the product isn’t yet listed, simply find the best price on the web and include a link to it.

And your forum rules state this -

forum rules said:
We, Overclockers UK (OcUK) are happy to provide the resources of these forums to responsible individuals without charge. They cost a substantial amount of money to maintain and use considerable amounts of bandwith which is paid for exclusively by us. As you know OcUK are in the computer hardware business and therefore the promotion of OcUK's competitors is forbidden. Examples of promotion are :-

* Posting links to competitors websites

When I asked about locating a Phase change cooler I near got my head bitten off by more established forum members hence why I'm pointing this out.

BTW bandwith is spelt bandwidth.

Don't worry yourself over rules. That's for me to sort out.

Thank you for pointing out the spelling mistake.

Oooo I'd love to do this but I haven't brought my PC anything new in ages :p

Maybe this is the perfect excuse :D

I would do this, but I never say enough in my reviews + I wouldn't even know where to begin with the guy from Sapphire :)

This is a very interesting idea, it'll be good to see the review section active.

I'm suddenly aware that I haven't bought anything terribly exciting for a long time now. Perhaps I'll overlook the issue of it being comprehensively outdated and review my excellent 8800GT anyway.

Can it be a review of a recently released game? Or is that too far out of the realms of what you're looking for?

I think there would only be a problem with this initial review to get the job. Afterall, once the winners have been picked, it says in the OP:

On a weekly basis, the selected Overclockers reviewers will be offered hardware to review and keep completely free of charge.

Therefore, I would assume that it will be OcUK sending people the hardware to review, and thus they would only be sending out stuff they stock, or are considering stocking in order to guage the communities reactions towards the hardware.
