BECOME AN OFFICIAL OcUK REVIEWER & WIN SAPPHIRE HD 5970, 5870, 5850 & 5770 GFX CARDS

So just to clarify there is NO minimum age? I'm 14, but I do have the time to do it and it is my dream job!

Also, should we win, what about hardware compatibility issues?

I would assume that the winners will be sent hardware that will be compatible with their current setup. So obviously the more up to date and high end your system, the more high end hardware you will get to play with.

one quetion... is this competition limited to UK members only or can people from Europe participate too?
The only problem with being outside the UK is shipping complications for review hardware. At this stage, the competition is open to all, but the judges may feel that it is important to be based in the UK.

Entries are now arriving in a steady stream and the standard is pretty good so far :)

I've thought of another question regarding all this. What's in it for OcUK? I mean, would they be pressuring the reviewers into giving more expensive kit better reviews? Especially as in the first post it mentions 'several' 5770's to the better reviewers, which means 5 reviewers at least, all getting send free hardware. So either OcUK are going to be spending hundreds of pounds a week sending out kit to all the reviewers, unless OcUK have been speaking around to all their suppliers and got the review agreement with them?
And personally, as a consumer I would prefer to trust 'independant' review sources rather than a shop that sells the item, since I would personally assume that the reviewers would be being encouraged to give the more expensive stuff better reviews. I very much doubt OcUK would do this, but would someone just visiting the site?

Those are just my initial reservations. That said, I'm in the middle of writing several reviews, and its pretty good fun actually, thinking about hardware differently, and I would certainly like to be selected! I'm just airing a couple of questions :)

It's more traffic to the site/forums, cheap advertising for the companies providing the hardware, encourages the community to get more involved and we have quite a good community here.
