Apologist makes post equating those who carry out beheadings with those who dislike islam (for having far more than their fair share of murderous zealots).
The truth is, these people do not share our values. Their values are completely at odds with our values.
And they have a history of a) being extremely violent when offended and b) being very easily offended.
You can't integrate ideologies/world view that are diametrically opposed to each other.

There was a question about integration.
I pointed out that in the UK 50% of the muslim population, I.e women aren't allowed to integrate by the males.
The uk pakistan population is the largest single Muslim population and also one of the fastest growing within the UK.
The non Muslim population of pakistan do exist you are correct. They live in a state of fear and persecution, often being attacked in their own country, being raped, kidnapped and forced into marriages with Muslims.
Sad but true.
We should all be pretty intolerant of beheadings as a punishment for writing or displaying cartoons.

Some are more upset about noticing the beheading than the beheading itself.
One wonders if they'd be so apologetic if it was their mother, brother, daughter being beheaded.
Or if they'd still be coming here to complain about "racism" being the greater evil.

I'm pretty sure at this point drawing a disparaging picture of the Prophet is a crime too, that's how far our country has fallen. If it had happened over here the teacher would probably be safe in prison.
He's not a prophet just a very naughty boy.
Can you imagine the outrage if that film would have been made today?
Not sure how you could realistically pull the plug but
1. Since Islam isn't a race but a faith, stopping immigration isn't the answer because not all immigrants are Muslims, and not all Muslims are immigrants. Add to that the issue doesn't appear to be a major concern for Muslims here from say Indonesia.
2. As much as it sucks, we're just a page in a history book. Given that Judaism and Christianity have had reformations in a way, it's likely that at some point Islam will go through some reformation too. I know some find it hard to believe, there are a diverse range of interpretations within Islam, many of which take a much more peaceful and tolerant stand. Of course these are minority groups (currently) and their outlook may well change if they gain power.
3. We take a less strict and harsher approach than China and put more emphasis on engagement with communities, with tougher punishments etc
I'm sure there are some racists about, but yeah not everyone who points out certain things is one.
