Belgian Grand Prix 2015, Spa-Francorchamps - Race 11/19

Don't forget we only hear selected team radio, could have been others.

Shame the rain didn't come and while I'm not a huge Vettel fan it was sad that he didn't score a point.

Looking at the Rosberg incident from Friday, it seems that his rear tyre popped and during the spin his other rear tyre popped too.

Probably because he wanted to stop again, and even asked the team about it, but they decided not to. Think he's blaming the team, not Pirelli.

Before the race from Pirelli the predicted life of that tyre was 23 laps. I believe, although my maths skills aren't what they used to be, that 28 is more than 23?

Can't really see any blame on Pirelli tbh.
100% Ferrari.

The Sky interview was a bit lame, anyone know if the BBC one is uploaded anywhere? ;)

Depends on what caused the delamination. Pirelli say its supposed to be x number of stops for each tyre due to the "cliff"

Not due to the potential to cause life threatening injuries or death because it will explode.

He probably has every right to be peed off and he is still counting himself in for the championship fight... or was.

If he wasnt aggrieved i would be annoyed for him showing a lack of care for the wdc fight. The guy just cannot please everyone it seems.

Yup, while I do feel some being peeved at the team/situation is part of it and not two stopping was a monumental mistake. The tire at the end of it's life is supposed to actually show signs, massive drop off in grip/speed, looks terrible, visible damage, vibration, whatever. THe tire isn't supposed to blow up and he's right if that happened 200m earlier he could be dead now.

However maybe the question isn't have Pirelli made unsafe tires that randomly destroy themselves, maybe it's a Spa corner problem, I forget which track had the corner which had too many sharp surfaces and was cutting tires. If there is an unsafe sharp surface out there it will be dangerous.

Woah woah woah WOAH!

Vettel claims he didn't go off the track?!

Oh yes he damn well did! Cut the corner at Raidillon, as he'd been doing with alarming regularity this race.
