Yup, while I do feel some being peeved at the team/situation is part of it and not two stopping was a monumental mistake. The tire at the end of it's life is supposed to actually show signs, massive drop off in grip/speed, looks terrible, visible damage, vibration, whatever. THe tire isn't supposed to blow up and he's right if that happened 200m earlier he could be dead now.
However maybe the question isn't have Pirelli made unsafe tires that randomly destroy themselves, maybe it's a Spa corner problem, I forget which track had the corner which had too many sharp surfaces and was cutting tires. If there is an unsafe sharp surface out there it will be dangerous.
